You are so cute :) Great quality, but unfortunately in this one the sound is not sync with the picture. Or is it just me? Root is also one of my favorite games. After playing Heat about 3-4 times I don't like it anymore. It ends up always like only the last hand draw before the finish line is important because all cars are always tight together. So play 1-2hrs and at the end the luckiest last draw win.

The publisher for Aqua Garden just launched a new game on Kickstarter (Sweet Lands) TODAY and they have Aqua Garden and ALL the expansions available as add ons!

I highly recommend the Coral Reefs expansion for Aquatica, Cold Waters is great too but I think Coral Reefs is a must have 😊

Everyone has different tastes in games. My group loves Let's Go To Japan. The card play can be very strategic and the scoring should be very easy.

Good luck with the imminent delivery. Getting another worker on the board sometimes takes some effort but it's usually worth it.

Sorry for the long post, but I have thoughts! - I saw Tend on your thumbnail and I clicked immediately! This game looks pretty good! - Aquatica!!! The new expansion looks like a great addition. Interested in it. I backed and now have Explorers of Navorria! I haven't opened it yet, but I am looking forward to it. - Rivervalley... I am still a little upset about this one, but glad that I finally received it. The delivery debacle was not a good one to live through, but at least I finally received it. It plays nice. It's a little light, but I like it. It's ok. Nice strategy, but I feel like it ends before I can really get going. The Azul comparison is pretty good, but it is super short. I wish it were longer. At least I have the expansion cards to mix in to see if I can give it some more life. My wife and I played 3 times in a row when I received it! - I didn't back Wondrous Creatures, but I got blasted by the ads on social media. It sounded ok, but I didn't follow through. That box looks good, though! Funny backstory for Herd Your Horses. My only problems with board games were with my brother and friends stealing Monopoly money behind my back. 😀 - I saw Let's go to Japan everywhere, but I was not taken with it. I'm surprised you didn't like it, but it is one of those games. If it comes down to, "How do I score all of this?!" in the end, I usually don't like those kinds of games. Great video! Wondrous Creatures is.... Wonderous! Was a surprise hit for me.

I'm definitely the same, I've got that completionist bug. Sometimes I'll stay away from a game I know I would like because on BBG it has 30+ expansions.

Tiny Epic Quest is pretty good, very small, and has few cards. Tortuga 1667 is another good one.

Kids' friends, neighbors, in-laws, etc. Meanwhile I only have 1 person to boardgame with. 😂

I am always on the look out for games to play with my kids that I also enjoy. Most recently we have been playing rat a tat cat. Very simple game, easy to setup and my kids, 6 and 8, are able to think about what to do all on their own.

I feel exactly the same about games with that social luck element. I tend to not like Trick taking games as well. I think my favorite trick taking game is cat in the box because it has a little bit of a strategic element to it as well and it seems to be pretty balanced, despite just having a lucky hand.
