I'm so glad I bought th Z900 at the beginning of this year. I just bought it before the 1k price increase. I was hesitant in the beginning because I thought the would finally catch up to the competition with the IMU and the QS/Blipper but no. Another year of no upgrades it's a shame tbh...

My favorites are the ones with mostly semi-gloss black plastics with candy lime green accents and frame. The Z125 was probably my favorite of the lot.
for there is too much black and grey going on with the models and not enough color .
Hard to imagine anyone sounding so excited by some colour-changes.. having said that; nice that there's finally a bright colour-option on the 650RS again after the lovely green/gold disappeared.
Couldn't agree more! Kawasaki are either being lazy or playing it far too safe! I think there's cost cutting going on too. Saying the Ninja sx is in three colour options when the tank and most of the panels are in the same colourway, just changed with decals is cheap way of doing things. I own two Kawasaki's so I'm not a hater of the brand. I've pre-ordered the 2024 Ninja sx and tbh I'm gutted with the colours.

Got to say if you buy a Kawi that isn’t Green, props to you for being different.
Just bought the ZH2 love the ride bit of a Jackal and Hyde bike
Love the ketchup and fries/chips color combo of the red Z650RS
I originally wanted the green with gold wheels Z650RS but decided it was a bit too showy for me, so got the black last December - now if that red with gold wheel combo is as nice as it looks, I feel a change coming on...
So right about the Z900rs. Proper pretty. Waiting for the retro fully faired version of this one.
The red black color combo for the z650 looks really cool for me. Might be my choice when i trade in my current bike
I'm Kawasaki daft! with 5 in the garage but man we need some more new models, proper updates for the Versys, Gpz style retro, update across the range of the 650 motor, Zh2 Eliminator and a few more
I have a 2021 Z-900, with the white tank and bright green wheels. It's such a bold and good looking bike, and performs fabulous too. I think they should be more bold with their colors. Already 23k miles on it.
Didn’t see the Vulcans or the Eliminator! 🤓 love the two RS models. Not proper cruisers, but next best. The word “sporty” has the opposite effect on me from what the marketing department wanted. I do agree with the repeated comment that more real variety would be welcome. And more bikes with less oddly angled bits of plastic that serve no purpose would suit me well. I can safely say Kawasaki is my favorite manufacturer.

Great vidoe as aIways, I am surprised at all the 'green again' comments. Kawasaki is green and always has been, ever since I was a kid. In saying that I do think they should always have another colour option for people that do not like green. We do not get the Z H2 SE in Australia and that just makes me sad...as I would want that one.
Didn't see a 650 versys.
I pick the Z900 RS or SE version. But i love more the Blue and gold paint more. Dont know if its on the RS or SE version of 2023.
That's the candy tone blue - a discontinued colour. Other markets get a poppin blue and metallic diablo black colour, but not the UK currently.

I feel the need to point out the obvious(to some), having read the comments.
Colours are driven by past sales. Period.
No manufacturer wants last year's unsold models on the floor.
It's paint! Buy the bike you want, and be creative.

I agree. I always repaint my bikes. Nothing worse that parking my pride and joy next to an identical one.

I just wish kawasaki could figure out how to color match the stickers to the paint.
Kawasaki could do a lot better with the colors and lets face it some significant upgrades are needed to a couple of the models they are kind of sticking with the tried and true.
No ZX4RR or ZX6R??? Either of them would've been my choice.
Please let me know witch color you think is more BAD ASS. going to buy one of those 2. but i dont have the option to see them live and i have to order one.

My general thougts i think the silver will be looking sick also its a naked bike so with small parts extra added in silver and red colors probably it can fits everyone's like,
but in the other hand the firecraker red looks also absolute sick, but its also a colectors bike and i dont like to add extra parts in this particular color model. can you get my point?
Also do you know if there is any difference in 2022 vs 2023 Z900 , i also asking for difference in build quality and in material used. only people how has both bikes will have that power of knowlege, or cool mechanics. Last but not least the 2022 model is 600 euros more expensive than the 2023 model. please your thoughts.

The z125 is a different bike in the US, its the same size as a honda grom.
They never imported our grom-sized one into the EU?
As much as I want to say you are wasting our time with a video about color options, the reality is that good color options have made me lust after bikes that I had previously removed from consideration. Yamaha SP and anniversary color options come to mind along with Honda's tri-color (red,white,blue) options.

Kawasaki need to let green go. It was a great color for them and established their dominance in late 90s and early 00s but it’s holding their potential back with them constantly pushing green. They look so much better in some of the white and matte black variations they had.
Ive got the versys 650 2021 in black and white with blue accents. Brilliant collor, myself dont like the green.
Green is too iconic for Kawasaki to let go, why would they do that ? Just should add other different options but never get rid of green, personally i don't like any other color than green on Kawasaki bikes. Other manufacturers got them covered.
@@DoctorStrange01 yes but red was iconic for Ferrari and then they switched to white, black, blue, silver and attracted a much larger audience.
@@JamesBond-ph6hr yeah, and red for Ferrari is still iconic and a color they're recognized for, which was my point 😅 now imagine if Ferrari didn't offer their cars in red. That's what you were saying, that is just plain dumb.
For me, green is the only way for Kawasaki. A red, white or black Kawasaki just makes it look like any other brand and lose its identity. Just like a red Suzuki instead of the iconic light blue, or a yellow Yamaha instead of dark blue.
None of those, aside from the yellow retro, did anything for me. Still think the old colors from the Yamaha MT/FZ range outdoes all these colors.

Yet another year where they dont update the Z900, way to long in the tooth and by far the worst in the middleweight naked segment, sadly wont be upgrading to another Kawasaki.
There's no "E" or "D" in the letter "Z". ffs

Almost the same as last year. I ride Z900 2020 and don't feel compelled to change it. They've done nothing to improve the motorcycle, or even the styling. No imagination. Shame.
I own a kawasaki SX 1000 2017 in green for me kawasaki are going backwards on the colour choices I'd have new bike but no good colours available, few upgrades on dash and quick shifter isn't worth changing the 2023 bikes are 85 % black , how boring, cheaper to produce large runs of the same bland colour,

Every year the same story... new colors and marginal update...
Apart from the retros these are some very uninspired colours...in my opinion at least. Probably just me but flat green makes plastic just look even more plastic and cheap

@tvdinner325 fortunately the slime areas are quite easy, mostly, to isolate and respray. Done that a few times. Few seem to notice, perhaps not as picky as us old men.

900 RS's are by far the best looking the rest are pretty crap IMHO.
The Kawi Green/black/red is one of the worst color schemes ever put on the Kawi bikes, specifically the Red part looks horrible.
You have never watched SBK? The red is a sponsor. People buy race replicas. FACT!
Awful colors, as usual for Kawasaki. Black-Green. I'll go for the Suzuki S1000GT to have blue.

The z 900 RS is I think the best for meny reasons one you can see the moter ,has the deals and not the computer guages which is know to get stuck in certain modes, the seat comfortable, and you can carry your girlfriend on the back and it's a very reliable bike and very fast and has the retro look and you can put the chrome bar on the back, yes yes yes🧝💃🌴⚡🌟
