Joe, thanks for sharing this. My daughter claire has been working hard on it. a few tips. 1. The pads for the feet on the MLM2Pro are sized so the unit should sit consistently in the same place and the in app alignment should match with the laser. I have found it very consistent. 2. With gs pro i set it up to align with the ball on the screen and a ball on my hitting mat. If all three are aligned it's good. 3. The Laser can be focused and then aligned to get a perfect vertical alignment. And I like to leave it on while hitting on the range to give me a clear aiming point For those wondering...... I designed and built this for my own use. I shared it, people wanted to buy them but i have a day job. She said she wanted to run with it and she is doing all the work for selling them. (i may also be the webmaster... 😂). She prints, assembles and ships every one and manages the supply chain herself. She had to reinvest all of her profits to get supplies from distributors after she exhausted the amazon sources. She's learned a ton through this.
I think it's fantastic mate I'd love to get my kids doing something like this! It's a great learning experience for them. I can't wait to see the future products on her website. Thanks for the other tips!
@@JLagGOLF share the knowledge: don't leave it in the car on a sunny California/Aussie day.... I mistakenly did and much like a CD, sunglasses, a cassette tape or other plastic..... It melted. Bought a second one 😝😝😝 Just so everyone knows, it works perfect at the range in the sun, but in an enclosed heat box, like a car in the sun, the temps get over 50c.... Most things warp. I take it to the range in the sun daily, no issues, but I was stupid and left it in the car.
Didn’t get this stand but just got one and used it tonight. Sure worth the money to make ease of setting up the device every time. I don’t have to mess around with it now. Will def make taking it to the range easy as well
Hey Joe quick question when I set up my mlm the yellow box that is supposed to be your hitting zone is at the bottom the screen, and I can’t get it to be in the area of my hitting mat. It still works ok but Have u ever had that issue? And know of any fixes? Thank you in advance
Hey mate I'm the same... My hitting box seems to jump around a bit. I've stopped paying attention to it tbh. I used to be concerned about it but I really don't think it makes a difference. I still think it's definitely worth reporting back to Rapsodo though! They have made it a bit more stable but it seems like it isn't fully fixed yet. Cheers
Hey Joe, looks like a good little unit. Some observations on your setup and questions from me based on that. 1. Do you find the eggshell foam helps a lot with noise reduction on the garage door? A friend of mine suggested it after plating on my setup so keen to know if there's a big noticeable difference? 2. Did you change to a side mounted roller door for the garage? 3. Did you do anything to increase height of garage to support driver swing? I only have 9ft ceilings so limited to iron play only.
Hey mate yes absolutely cover the concrete and it will really help with noise reduction anything to stop the echoing for example the big sheets I have either side will help reduce noise as well. No I didn't have to change to a side mounted system. The people that installed my garage were really good and literally mounted the track and everything to the ceiling so it's out of the way. No I haven't increased the height however I do occasionally hit the roof every now and then... Once a month or so when I'm speed training generally. I only have 8ft 10 inches. I would love to raise just one section as really I only hit one little section of the roof. When I have friends over that don't swing as rotary as me they can't hit driver.
Thanks for letting us know about this, Joe! Question about your hitting mat though- I noticed that it’s higher or on top of your main mat. Do you stand on another mat to make it level as your hitting one ?
Good eye! Yes it's very slightly higher at the ends just due to the actual hard foam I had to use. I have been meaning to shave it down slightly so it sits perfectly flat. At the moment it's not a big pain as the impact strip sags slightly so there I hit from is pretty much level with the hitting strip.
This is of subject sorry but how does the garmin r10 compare to say a gc3 for club path data? Really tempted to buy a used one to get club data untill i buy club data for my gc3?
That's a really good question for me. Personally I think if you get the garmin r10 set up correctly I mean aligned perfectly. I think it is quite good with club data. I'm going to do a comparison between my Garmin R10 and my Uneekor Eye Mini So stay tuned for that!
@JLagGOLF awesome thanks. Let's face it 90% of golfers swings won't be consistent. So me spending £1400 on club data add on may not be worth it. If I can get a good 80%-90% accuracy with a £200-300 garmin r10. To help me improve while I put abit money away for the club data might not be as stupid idea as it sounds. Hopefully lol
Hey mate I have an HDMI cable that I run from my projector on my roof down the wall and I use a HDMI to USB C apple adapter and just plug it in. Some people use airplay and have an apple tv plugged in to their projectors. I just wanted a wired connection! Cheers
I don't why you keep promoting this MLM2. It took me 5 times to connect, the image is upside down, and when I'm supposed to pick net, balls, elevation, etc. the iPad screen is black but not on the hitting screen, then I have to start all over. Now the device is pointing 30 degrees to the right and the alignment screen says it's lined up. Everything is updated.
Hey mate sorry it seems that way! I had a horrible time at first with this device… and I definitely let it be know in my earlier videos on the unit. Thanks to some trouble shooting I’ve done using a wifi extended and the updates from Rapsodo its really turned into a great device for me. There are still some bugs in the app but it sounds like you’re having a rough time!
I designed it. People asked for these and my daughter decided to make a business out of it. She has her own business accounts and runs this business. She assembles and mails every single one. I have a real job that pays well enough that I don't need money from making stuff like this. If she hasn't taken it up I would be the only one with a unit like this.
@@ClearCreekWoodDesigns if you decide to work with Joe on a stand for the eye mini I definitely would be interested in one and have a design request Joe probably won’t be interested in. This is going to sound crazy so stick with me. In order to accommodate both left and right handed golfers as easily as possible I intend to put mats on both sides of the EyeMini and turn the EyeMini 180° So left handers can be accommodated in a foursome. I understand that in 90% of the cases this means either right or left handed players will not be able to use it exactly level and I’m OK with that as long as one side can be made level. At our skill levels, the degree or so that it would be off will not make a huge difference in our ability to play. Otherwise, if that makes the design too complicated I understand and I would be open to buying two so I can pre-set them and move the mini between them. I live in the States but am willing to support your daughter’s entrepreneurial efforts and pay for the shipping just the same. Kudos to her and to you for being such a supportive dad!

Ordered one just the other day. Impatiently waiting for it to arrive in Sweden :)
I bought from David and Claire and it was awesome! great people. It makes the MLM pro set up so easy. THX David and Claire... I highly recommend them.
Good to hear that mate. It's really cool to see someone so young start up a business and make these awesome stands.
Just bought one. Great product and I love supporting the kids! My Rapsodo will be on the way soon too. Excited for my first at home sim.
You will love it mate it's the best thing I did! I definitely use mine a little too much now 😂
Just ordered one! Great product and it’s great to support a father/daughter product. Thank you!
That's awesome and I agree 👍 really cool to see Claire do this.
Very nicely built unit. Very entrepreneurial for an 11 y/o. Kid's gonna go far in life.

Nice! I know they are busy at the moment making them
just placed my order for one. Thanks so much for telling us about these!
Nice! You won't be disappointed it's a quality product.
Just got mine, ordered through the link provided. Very nice unit, love it!
They are great! I now take mine to the range as well.

Yes absolutely! I'm swapping units in and out all the time so for me it will be a lot earlier getting them level and the correct height.
Thanks for the video. I just purchased one for myself from her website. Looking forward to using it on the range.
That's great! They are a fantastic print quality.
The Lazer.. is it also set for the hight of platform mlm2pro and ball platform?
Just bought one of these from Claire. Do you think having the black mats in front of the unit toward hitting mat help with data accuracy?
