He seems to be polite, intelligent, kind and friendly. He is one of first players I started to support, one of my most favourite tennisplayers and also people who inspirates me. It is sad how that injury just I think broke him😔, but I believe and wish that he will come back to his level and also into top 10 soon. Wishing you all the best.
I Live near his hometown (Lower Austria), i also admire him so much. He has now a good team, also a really good and famous sport (here in Middle Europe) psychologist (prof. Dr. Malkovits, he was yesterday in his box, in Kitzbühl). I think things will become better. I hope so.
Man, I just hope to see him back at his best again. Even the last sequence, where they mention that Medvedew choose his Backhand, you can only see a short little smile and the empty eyes right afterwards. It just seems like he his at a very low point mentally at the moment. Poor Domi. Feel sad for him.
Pistol Pete and Kyrgios for second serve any day! The variety, the willingness to go big, when necessary and pull it off. So hard to read from their motion as well.
Roger's forehand is the best shot in the history of tennis. Can't take anyone serious who doesn't pick it. Redirection, power, topspin or flat, on the rise from the baseline, half volley, etc. It's really not close.
Also to make these more thought provoking or to start getting different answers, i would like to know down the line forehand, cross court, drop shot, passing shots.. Different variations otherwise you will always revert to the big three only
Mine is: Forehand: Federer Backhand: Djokovic Serve: Karlovic Net: Sampras Return: Djokovic Movement: Djokovic Mentality: Djokovic Defense: Nadal Hurts to only put my favourite player (Rafa) only once in this, but I have to be honest.
Choosing almost exclusively Big 3 is just the objectively right answers lol. Just once I'd like to see one of these players consider a different server based on the actual mechanics of their serve, because that's a different answer than just "I would like to be 7 ft tall." However, even if you remove height and just talk about serve mechanics, maybe the answer is still Isner.
@@novakgoatovic please. The correct answer is your second sentence, Thiem hasn't played him. But Carlos has already been well tested and passed most (not all yet, still room to grow) of them. The only true remaining test is the kind of longevity and consistent excellence that made the Big 3 who they are.
Alcaraz already have strong serve. That's why he is almost dominating the tour right now aside from Djokovic. Once Novak fall off or retire next year and he improve his game maybe a bit here and there, he can be dominating the tour.
Roger had a beautiful backhand but his forehand was far more dominant. Novak his backhand is really close to his forehand. It has to be Novak's backhand
You can't say that Rogers backhand is the best when it has been exploited time and time again by Rafa. Roger's backhand is good but it's flawed when returning high balls. He learned to hit it really early on the rise too late in his career.
Nalbandian backhand has the supreme power ideal and best for fast courts but Djokovic backhand is perfect and the best for defense so it is overall most useful in recent times
Remember how Nalbandian backhand crushes Nadal super fast and spinny forehand, Soderling super forehand and Fed's inside-out forehand like they were nothing? That was insane.
That's the trouble with the great, but just a little second tier players. Same is true of Andy Roddick. If not for Roger, Roddick would have been a 5+ slam winner too.
That is the only perfect player.... There is no other player that is better in those categories in which Thiem put them in The only correct choices....
Edberg; MacEnroe; Becker;Sampras;Rafter they are the true net players. Federer is NOT a net player. And also touch goes to MacEnroe> Still no player like Mac.
@@mrhatman675amd closing the matches is under presure lool🤣🤣🤣. Also he hasn't the best bach-hand, he lost many matches of his career late because of his back-hand. Djokovic's back-hand is much more consistent and more effective.
Whosoever is best in each variety of shots, but the complete package of the sport named Tennis, in any era ( past, present and future) including the women's tour , was, is and will always be the one and only Roger Federer. As all tennis experts, pundits, commentators, all players ( past, present and future) and all the people in this planet , always say, federer only will always be called " MR. TENNIS" of this universe
Finally someone who makes some reasonable decisions!
Yes...
Exactly
You mean unlike those other world class players - whose choices you disagree with? Mmm......
Mannn domi when he was peak was unlike anyone, a pure thrill to watch. Would love to see him get back there again
Stop overrating the guy, he's nothing but a fluke now back to where he belongs.
Thank you for showing us Domi and his thoughts! Much appreciated! Hope that he will find his A game asap!
Dom 15-17 against the 3 greatest players to ever live now thats not bad. Go Thiem!!!
Really? That's amazing
thats some outrageous stuff

He is. He’s a gem of a guy!
In that case, he would not be playing! I still have faith in Dominic 😊.
That were some perfect choices there.

So adorable. Dominic is always sincere and thoughtful with his answers. Love watching him not only on but also off the court!
Such a genuinely good guy. Wish his form returned.
Love him and miss seeing him deeper in slams. Keep working Dom and come back strong!!❤️
He is experiencing what Eden hazard experienced, hope he finds his prime again❤
Domi is such big Big3 fanboy 😂👑
They are the big 3 for a reason.
Let's be real, almost everyone are fans of Big3 or any one of Big3
It is not who he's a fanboi of. It is who's the best. And well the big three are the best i guess ;)
Well everyone does like either one of them it's obvious
how is he a fanboi if he is realistic. They are the best, thats it.
Don't think I can argue with any of his choices, spot on
Love Thiem
Domi,we believe in you❤
Second serve, I pick Thiem. The kick on his serve is ridiculous!
Pistol Pete and Kyrgios for second serve any day! The variety, the willingness to go big, when necessary and pull it off. So hard to read from their motion as well.
Thiem come on dude, you were a big hitter that i enjoyed to see in 2019-2020
FH: Federer
BH: Djokovic

Net game: Edberg
Touch: Federer
Speed: Alcaraz

such a likeable player
hope to see his prime version again but I doubt it as well

Forehand - Domi
Backhand - Domi
Serve - Domi
Intensity - Domi

Perfect choices from Domi 👌
Hope he gets back to the top
Very odd that tactics or strategy or point construction wasn't mentioned. Tennis isn't just about technique, athleticism and mental fortitude.
Also to make these more thought provoking or to start getting different answers, i would like to know down the line forehand, cross court, drop shot, passing shots.. Different variations otherwise you will always revert to the big three only
I like Domi 🤩
love u thiem 💙

Backhand: Djokovic
Serve: Karlovic
Net: Sampras
Return: Djokovic

Hurts to only put my favourite player (Rafa) only once in this, but I have to be honest.
U mistook Clutch for mental toughness.... Rafa has always been the mentally toughest

Smartest selections so far.
Butt?
Thiem: Myself, of course.
I like this guy. It's so sad that his career was cut short by injuries
Rog never dies!
As a Zverev fan, I’m glad they didn’t let him do this interview 😮💨
Why is that
Wow gotta agree on all accounts! That's crazy but yeah....he's right on all categories
4:15 "thank you for noticing"
I think I'd go forehand of Sinner, backhand of Wawrinka and serve of Kyrgios
It’s being pretty hard to let Rog go.
Serve: Isner, Return: Djokovic, Forehand: Fernando Gonzalez, Backhand: Wawrinka, Slice: Federer, Lob: Murray, Speed: Nishikori, Footwork: Murray, Flexibility: Djokovic, Mental toughness: Djokovic, Agility: Monfils, Dropshot: Alcaraz
Med's celebrations are Mad
Finally... a beast is born😎
He knows; He has played against a fit big 3, that's why he is such a fan boy
1:35, not a slice; a volley...
the cutest, the strongest
How is Carlitos not on here for speed 😯
carlos is new boy, not tested yet. Thiem didnt play him either. when carlos deserves = he will be there.

Forehand Fed, Serve, Fed,
What about overhead smash or tweener?
The only one who for competitivnes and mental said BOTH Novak and Rafa, and that is the only right answer
why didnt they include dropshots or lob?
He hides sadness but not that well
perfect player: carlos Alcaraz with federer serve
He actually has the time to improve it to get closer to Fed's serve. He has already improved a lot
I'd take Sampras serve
Carlovic Alcaraz :)
I mean cmon, the kid will be an alltimer but stop overhyping him in everything
Alcaraz already have strong serve. That's why he is almost dominating the tour right now aside from Djokovic. Once Novak fall off or retire next year and he improve his game maybe a bit here and there, he can be dominating the tour.
Touch? Thiem: its not easy… ok we can skip the video
If you have an Isner serve, you dont a Rafa forehand anymore
I would swap Novak backhand to Roger backhand, other vice everything is on point.
Roger had a beautiful backhand but his forehand was far more dominant. Novak his backhand is really close to his forehand. It has to be Novak's backhand
Djokovic backhand is much better, the key to defeat Federer was to literally attack his backhand
You can't say that Rogers backhand is the best when it has been exploited time and time again by Rafa. Roger's backhand is good but it's flawed when returning high balls. He learned to hit it really early on the rise too late in his career.

What says man at the end?
i made it past the equilibrium you guys can make it too.
What about the drop shot?
This year? atp right now… I mean you have to choose Alcaraz for speed, touch and forehand
Why do we watch these videos... they give the same answers every time
If not for rafole, thiem would be a 5-slam winner
That's the trouble with the great, but just a little second tier players. Same is true of Andy Roddick. If not for Roger, Roddick would have been a 5+ slam winner too.

There is no other player that is better in those categories in which Thiem put them in

And Kyrgios’ serve?
Domi doesn’t know Carlitos ?
Edberg; MacEnroe; Becker;Sampras;Rafter they are the true net players. Federer is NOT a net player. And also touch goes to MacEnroe> Still no player like Mac.
Big 3 are big 3 .
Thiem, carpe diem..
Speed Monfils and of course de Minaur
W thiem
Best serve and forehand: Nick Kyrgios
Roger has it all 😊😊😊
not the mental toughness
remember 40-15

aka the future Carlitos Alcarazz
Gives up easily: Thiem
Been watching a bunch of the build your player vids and interesting none of them pick women 😶

if he had a flavour he would be mayonnaise
Is she trying to say competitiveness?
If Novak was being asked these questions his response would be:”myself, myself, myself.”Still a great player though.
You Are confused; Murray And Rune would say such things!😉
Maybe you confuse him with A. Zverev? Djokovic vill never put himself first.
Dom is my 2nd player but building a player is boring
It would be better if he rebuilt himself as a professional player.
how about you built yourself above average for starters?
Why put a 100+ ranked player in this sorf of video, how does his opinion matters?
Should they put 146 th ranked Rafa instead?😬
Says the guy with no rank.
@@anafranjic4646 Coz Rafa ain't a fluke who disappeared after winning a slam.

Thiem is washed up and is done for.
i like you Thiem. I hope u can come back to your old form. And yes Novak is the GOAT :)
Djokovic forehand is perfect, Federer can't beat him with his grip, Nadal plays with huge spin.
And this perfect player would still loose to Prime Rafa at RG 😂
