Ek bahut hi important farak in dono 1.2 litre turbocharged engine me hai, jo aapne nahi bataya, wo yeh ki TGDI engine me carbon deposit hone ki wajah se valve etc. fail ho jaati hai aur engine kholna parta hai 65-70K kilometer chalne ke baad. yeh sabhi TGDI engines ki kamjori hai. Normal 1.2 litre turbopetrol me yeh problem nahi hai kyuki isme fuel injection valve ke peechhe hota hai jo valve ko saaf rakhta hai. To agar aapko outright performance chaahiye to TGDI leejiye lekin yaad rakhiye ki yeh engine utna tikaaoo nahi hai.

Just a little research on Google will throw up hundreds of 'sources' for this info. These engines have not been popular in the US because of their poor durability. In the US they expect angines to last upwards of 200000 kilometres. These engines are used in formula racing because in racing engines performance is everything and durability is not a consideration at all-- the engine is replaced for every race.
When we start petrol engine in AX5 it generates vibration in gear lever, is it problematic or common due to 3 cylinder. Can we trust this petrol engine as reliable?
I owned the tgdi one and clocked 6.5k odo. IMO if your running is low and only within city go for tcmpfi but if you run on Highway more go for tgdi. There is hadly different between two engine in city limit. So no point on spending extra on the tgdi engine. Another important point tgdi needs 95octane petrol another extra spends. In the used Market both engine will be considered as petrol engine and will get same value. Keep this in mind before take decision.
Need one input in terms of mileage of both engines. Which engine gives better mileage in a Petrol variant and what may be the approx difference in mileage between the two engines?

I think 3 cylinder engine is like jugad, and turbo charge or natural espirated . Turbo charge is nothing.. simply it's pushes air pressure fast so gives better pickup during start or traffic...and nothing..
