We've had to postpone the face to face workshops but have a handstand ONLINE workshop this week - Saturday 27th June. only 5 places left - schoolofcalisthenics.com/product/online-handstand-workshop
Hi jacko Tim some months ago i bought your handstand PDF book. on your website. I have mastered the wall frog crow to handstand. But how do i transfer that to the freestanding one. The trick for me was to the butt hips near vertical and try to extend the legs neither too fast or too slow. But my main question is how do i transfer that to the freestanding one. Is it just to have as much work capacity at the wall assisted version before moving to freestanding one with slow control. Its mostly a little bit fear of losing balance from that position. And not being able to bail out. I can bail out from kick up but from frog crow i lack cordination..
can I train levers but not pull ups, push ups and dips, I feel it so weird, I do yoga but im interested in straight arm strenght.. what you think? I feel like 3 basics of calisthenics screw my yoga progress...(especially pull ups) i have a pair of gyms rings I " "skin the cat" "reverse hang" "tucked back lever" and now im doing front lever progressions, some guys at the park say its imposible do levers without like 30 pull ups and 15 muscle ups... but the engage is completly different, I need an expert opinion so..
Yeah similar principles, start with straddle and hand that you will take off the floor outstretched to the side. Finger tips and that hand for some small support and work to only one finger... then none!!!
Soooo cool and informative! !! 💖💖💖💖💪
Glad you liked it and found it helpful - Jacko
That tricked me , I thought Jaco is doing Single arm Planche. Nicely explained guys , keep up the good work.
Are the workshops still happening?

Should I apply the same principle for a single elbow lever? Or does that need it's own tutorial?
