I’m so jealous, I wish we had a store like that, I agree that Mother’s needs to step up their game, I use there products and like them, can you review some of them, I prefer spray on tire protection because four of my family vehicles have off road tires with aggressive side walls, great video Pan 👍😁

I always used the Invisible Glass also. But I was in our local Napa store and they had their brand glass cleaner $2.99 USD for a 40 ounce spray bottle. So for that price I figured I’d try it. All I can say is wow. I loved it. No streaking and after you wipe it dry the glass feels like it has a coating on it. My new go to for that price. Loved this video Pan. I think that store has my local stores beat. What a selection.

I’ve been using the Nu Finish Ceramic coating and it’s replaced all the Meguires and TW products I’ve bought this year. It outlasts them all and still going strong at six months on four vehicles. It doesn’t smell as nice but it’s just as easy to apply as other brands and lasts longer.

The TW products you were using...was it the basic line (green bottles) or was it the hybrid line? I'm curious to know if it beat the hybrid line

God I'm so upset at myself for not grabbing Autoglyms HD Shampoo when we had it, going to be a pain to try and import. COME ON MAN!! GET SOME OF THAT AUTOGLYM AND LET'S HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS!! I really dig their Magma for my wheels and bodywork, it just felt different to me when I was done washing the car, it felt like it was stupid clean... not to mention the colouring changing stuff really helped out to make sure I didn't miss any spots. Also i'm curious about their Ceramic coating, I keep seeing some people amazed by how much you get in the kit. Nice video as usual sir! (hope you are still enjoying your 911)

@@PanTheOrganizer It is hard to say since I learn something from each one that I have seen. Maybe, when you demo and talk about Turtle wax (Hybrids) and compare these less expensive waxes/ceramics to the more expensive counterparts and how the do so well. I use some of the detail sprays and interior cleaners from them but have not tried the ceramics/waxes outside. I use Blackfire polish and sealants along with plastic cleaners on the outside of my Black Truck. It appears to be nice. I would like to try the McKee's 37 and see how well that holds up but, I want to use up all of the Blackfire I have first. Can you do a comparison of these against Hybrids?? I would love to see how that comes out.

Another great video Pan!!! I have a challenge for you if you chose to accept it; when you say about a product "back in the day" I would like to see you take a classic car, pre 1970 and do a complete detail. All the technology in chemicals now are for modern day paint and interiors but what about a classic car detail? Up for the challenge? We are!

Glass is glass. Rubber is rubber. Other than epoxy paint and non-water base paints, there is not much difference. It's still 90% elbow grease. Older paintwork (in theory) will contain more oxidation. Skip the compounds and test with polish and light pads. Prepair for the pads to loads up quickly. I've done older European vehicles and have cut dead paint using only water and fine pads. Single stage paints tend to burn easier on the edges and should be avoided if possible. However, these paints take minimal skill to touch-up areas with off the shelf paint. I'll use a small air brush to touch up any areas that hit primers. It's much easier to repair/recoat those areas as opposed to base/clearcoat water based applications.

If that's the Meguirs All Wheel Cleaner that turns purple then yes, good stuff. Use it on my new Camaro that leaves stupid amounts of brake dust on the wheels from the Brembos. I do break it loose with a wheel brush after it turns purple then spray off with the power washer. Just don't let it dry too much while purple. Lastly a super quick wipe down with the TW Hybrid Wet Wax on those wheels while still wet and done. I'm happy with the product and glad you picked this one up.

Then I tried a spray on application type tire cleaner, using brushes to clean the inner and outer wheels the best I could. I really saw a lot of dirt coming of it so I would recommend cleaning throughly if you find the time to. I just tried VRP from chemical guys yesterday and it gave the tires a nice, slick finish. Hi from Down Under, I just wanted to share my experience with the Autoglym Bumper and Plastic gel. I own and run Armourize Car Care and Detailing out of the Gold Coast and Tweed heads area in Australia. The Autoglym gel is my go to product for all the plastic, rubber and leather surfaces. It goes a very long way as I get 4 to 5 cars from every bottle which costs aud$18.00 at the retail level so it's very good value for money and lasts for several months or even longer if the car is garaged regularly. If you don't like the high gloss you can wipe the surface down with a microfibre towel to reduce the gloss. The other go to product I use that you mentioned is the Nufinish. I've had great success with it as it's extremely easy to use and on my own car which was out on the road every day It was still beading after 16 months. At around aud$18.00 per bottle for the liquid version it's great value as you can get around 4 applications for a mid sized sedan and about 3 for a larger vehicle. Love your videos by the way. Lots and lots of great content.

Hi Pan, you and your channel are AWESOME! I am learning so much about care care, detailing, that I never knew existed. I agree with the other commenter that you probably have forgotten more than most of us including me will ever know about detailing. A couple of questions for you:
    1) I do have some legacy Armor All products I bought years ago. Now that I am trying to up my at-home car care and detailing game, I am becoming aware just how much the industry has evolved. So do you think it is OK if I keep using them for the moment just to finish up what I already have before moving on to other better products, or should I discard them now? They are probably 10+ years old, and did a good job back in the day. I sense you don’t think much of them compared to today’s other brands. Not sure if you’ve ever reviewed any of them. I would like to use them up ($) but not sure if that’s really a good move, do they still do OK with today’s paints/sealants/ plastics? I don’t mind the wet look AA leaves on tires, but will be moving on to VRP and PlastX or similar for exterior trim. I never really liked the greasy look on the interior plastic. Do these chemicals “expire” with time and should not be used if old? What do you recommend regarding my inventory of AA?
    2) I live in Northern New England, and do not enjoy a heated garage with a drain to wash my vehicles in the winter. I think many of us are in the same boat. What do you recommend we do when it’s below freezing and the car is dirty / has road salt on its undercarriage/ lower body? There are always automated car washes of course, including the touchless variety, Yet detainers consistently recommend against using them. What do you advise? Thanks in advance for your insights.

You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 880,000 subscribers and we have over 113 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
You sure asked a lot of questions haha. Please understand that with almost one million subscribers, I receive thousands of messages daily across all platforms and it makes it near impossible to reply to all. Still, I try my best to respond to every TH-cam comment every day as you can see. I'm one of the only big detailing channels to personally take time to reply to viewers. But I can't give long answers, as I'd die trying. So thanks for understanding.
Most detailing chemicals have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years tops, if kept in stable conditions and not frozen. If you have chemicals older than that, I would recommend throwing them away. They are likely past their prime and won't give you the claimed performance. I certainly can't recommend Armor All products, as they have been largely surpassed by pretty much all the other brands in their segment, including Turtle Wax, Meguiar's, Griot's Garage, Adam's Polishes, to name a few.
To give you an idea of which products I like and recommend, you should watch my popular annual car detailing products awards here: th-cam.com/video/gRwsznwfTwE/w-d-xo.html

would love to see some auto glym products on the channel as they are really quite good. things like magma are a good iron fallout remover, super resin polish seems to be the go to polish for most people in the uk, and other things like their shampoo are really good, and polar blast does come out nice and thick

I use the AutoGlym iron remover and very satisfied with it. I also use the Maguiar's wheel cleaner as an iron remover that I found efficient as well but more expensive.
For an instant I tought you were in my Laval Can Tire. I know, they all look the same. 😄

Nice trip through the local Canadian tire Pan. If I do go to Canadian tire it's always the automotive, it's the 1st section lol. I'm really enjoying some of the Adams products such as the graphene coating @ in my opinion adams tire coating. It leaves a nice high gloss like VRP but is solvent based so lasts longer. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Only thing I can’t get locally is the Sonax stuff which I think is way better then most of the stuff on the shelves.
Big fan of some Meguiar’s stuff. They have a huge budget and their own chemists to come up with products. Many others are simply repackaging stuff from other producers.

Gosh what a great selection of products. A huge number of Simoniz items. Back in the 50’s and 60’s. I used to see their products in the US. Haven’t see any for years. Thanks for what you do for the detainers.

Nice store! I’ve seen maybe 1/2 of that in Midwest US. Walmart is carrying Chemical Guys but only a small selection. Adams never seen in store anywhere here? My favorite product is Chemical Guys VRP for engine bay and tires. Sonax wheel cleaner is awesome. Meguiars ceramic wax is 👌 Great video. Thanks for sharing

You are lucky with the selection. The Canadian Tire in Cobourg Ontario doesn’t have a third of your selection. I’m in Nova Scotia on holiday I will have to check out the stores in Nova Scotia, P.E.I New Brunswick and of course in Quebec on the way home.😀

Got an indigo blue charger, didn’t have time to wash it for about a month and I got crazy water spots, I used CG water spot remover followed with meguiars professional detail spray (pink bottle) and now my hood looks brand new!

Wow, that's a big store. We don't have that in the states. I use Armoral tire shine foam and it's awesome. After wash I spray and walk away. I also really like last coat products which I tried after seeing it on your channel over a year ago. You rated it highly. I use their black ice and refresh with Amp once in a while and it adds fantastic shine. I bought your recommended detailer by Gyeon but did not notice any added benefit in shine. I love your videos, especially all product review and rating. However Chattanooga changing products and you highly recommended items is overwhelming. It hard to keep up with it. This stuff is not cheap and consumers can't afford to switching products all the time. It will be great if you could make a video recommending what single product people can use for each purpose (tire, compound, polish, shampoo, paint protection, detailer, glass, black trim, etc).

Awesome that they have some good products but holy shit are they expensive. That chem guys hydro slick detail spray is like 17$ at Walmart in the USA. 40$ is insane. Most of the prices I saw were nuts but it's cool they have a good amount of stuff and from some good brands at least. I have got on board with DIY detail and there products are absolutely wonderful. A little expensive but so far I am so frigging happy with the products. Yvan Lacroix is my idol in the detail industry, I would do anything to spend 3 days with the guy and just pick his brain and learn more than I know. Always keep learning and keep progressing

I like Armor all the spray extreme tire shine and rim cleaner. And the ceramic wash from Armor all then I use turtlewax graph wax for a bit more protection. I don’t like the aerosol cans or gels for my tires, I prefer the spray bottles. I enjoyed your content as always Pan!!

Hi Pan! Humble video request: Comparison or ranking of polishers. Which brands and types to consider, long throw, gear driven, DA, rotary... Best, best bang for the buck, worst, ect.
I'm in the market now as my porter cable is finally at its end after 10 years of service and I almost feel lost at all the options out there. Love the channel, love the 'detail' in your reviews! Thanks for sharing your work, have a great day!

Wow Thanks Pan. You pointed out a great many things worth a look and re-visit. It's nice to discover readily available retail shelf products that work well to get the task done with great results. Trying different Shampoos as of late. We all know it is quite the consumable with cost and performance being key. I put zero merit in the 'Wax' part of Wash and Waxes but test anyway with the thinking that the property adds Lubrication. Hope that makes sense. A new thinking is to add a bit of McKees N914 to wash bucket with an otherwise regular wash soap to see how it goes. Lol, I have to be careful with that as the Bee's seem to come around for a sniff when I am working. Autoglym. Are we missing decent products?

    Pan,
That’s REALLY good for retail level.
Adam’s graphene products, Auto Glym, etc. Here in the states we get a few decent chemical guys products. Most of it though is TW old school, $1 gallon of car soap, etc.

Meguairs Ultimate Wheel cleaner I would give a 7 out of 10. Still needed to clean the wheel, but did remove most of the brake dust from a VW Golf euro brake dust.
