Without doubt, Federer is the most talented, beautiful, vesatile player ever to play tennis. Variety of shots he plays, is far more than combined of Nadal or Novak. His volley , stop volley, backend, forehand and dropshots are very pleasing to watch. To play for 20 over yrs with very high consistency is simply amazing. And above all, he is very humble, down to earth always easy going with his fans and media. We hardly read or hear ppl say bad things abt him. It is astonoshing to know that he has never retired half way in 1500 plus matches he has played. This shows how much he loves Tennis.. No other player has this effect on public past 50 yrs plus. No wonder he gets so much love, respect and attention from Reporters, players and public.. Even if Novak wins 25 Slams, he can never match talent, skill, charishma, elegance and popularity of Federer. Novak may go down as Goat but Federer is Lion ( king who rules)..👌🏻👌🏻..

this video is awesome! but you should have great half volley forehand from old federer against gasquet as well(2006 toronto 3rd set 1 0/ 15(all) federer serve)

I was always taught to avoid half volleys. But then again, I ain't Federer.

Per me, Federer ha lo stile più elegante e la tecnica piu raffinata...lo fa sembrare semplice al colpo più difficile.

Sometimes, it's just unfair to be Federer's opponent.

Good stuff! For me, hopefully announcers will get away from the expression, "are you kidding me?". I means nothing describing a tennis match. Cheers.

"Maybe he should play to the Federer forehand."
Funniest shit I've heard all day.

You know you're in trouble when the commentator suggests to play on Federers forehand.

With Federer not playing, you just don't see those kind of shots anymore. A perfect grinder is still playing, but that isn't even in the same league.

He plays so fast the opponent has no chance to even react.

Ok tennis fans, tell me - would he practice the half volley or he just has that good an eye?
It's a massive advantage to be this good at half volleys - he never has to retreat.
