Thanks for the video! I'm traveling to Vietnam this Friday, and I'm scarred if I also got scammed like other vloggers getting scammed at Ben Thanh. I'm glad I found your video before going.

Totally agree with everything you said in this video 🙌🏼. They are rude and over priced. Only nice to you if they can rip you off otherwise you get ignored or they use foul language.

Seriously, Ben Than market folks are extremely rude and use unfair language.

We are in Vietnam right now and you are saying the truth. The shopkeepers are fucking rude and very unfriendly. We are traveling from NZ and we thought we will spend good money here on shopping but after meeting these unfriendly shopkeepers I thought I would rather buy from India and support my people.

Thanks for watching and realizing the truth instead of disliking honest vlogs. I hope you eventually found good service

It makes sense than drinks would be more expensive than in the street. Inside they have to pay rent for the stalls and, outside othing, no rent on the streets.

That market is just more expensive than other markets. Even one vendor will charge more/less than the adjacent vendor in the same market. I buy from and support the ones that are genuinely nice. Thanks for watching.

I spend a lot of time in Pattaya. This market is expensive in comparison to Thailand...

Are you sure? Most people say apparel is cheaper in Vietnam and they have more variety.

As Vietnamese, we also don't like shopping at this market, because it's full of scams.

Wow! Thanks for your input. Due to the location, the market will get endless amounts of tourists

They're unfriendly because you're not not friendly or they don't understand what you are saying.... Watch other videos and you may understand.

Not true, we were polite and friendly, many rude sellers. I was touched, grabbed, 1 guy demanded 100,000 from me, we were not trying to buy anything, we were just trying to order a grab to leave. I said no sorry, he said go f**K your mother. I prefer Thailand or Indonesia as people are friendlier not hostile or aggressive like this. We had translating headphones and some of the things that were being said were disgusting.
