New subscriber here. I am Vietnamese. I accidentally discovered your videos from my country. I want to follow you. First, you are right about “fake” merchandise. Vietnam exports Nike shoes, Adidas, clothes, etc... if you know the rules of export: the items must be perfect. Unfortunately there is no perfection in life. The items had a small errors, they cannot export, These items would go to local markets.
Thailand fake copy feels like a level up compared to Vietnam. I was asking for a Gucci hand bag Patpong night market when I asked for their top copy. I was lead to the back of the store with the whole works (box, paperwork, and bag). I swear the few extra dollars do make a huge difference in quality when you play around those zippers and the material of the bag. If I am going to go fake, I might as well go with the high quality fake where a triple take might be needed to spot it.
You have a couple of different levels of fake: A cheap fake is like "addasi" shoes or niki shirts which are obvious fake and often poor quality And then normal fakes where you look at the seams and details that it differs, can vary in quality Then you have copies where names have been changed, e.g. "sport" is common where the quality varies and some are extremely high quality And then you have perfect fakes there things even can be original and where things seem to have "fallen out of the truck" from the original factory and are virtually indistinguishable from the original and even comes with the right boxes wrapping papers and documents and bags
@@cashtravels i Like my polo ralph lauren golf shirts i often buy in bangkok.. where i buy i get authentic paper and box and i pay about 30% of original price . they are probably original because i cant find any difference i seams and markings from the originals
The thing about this market is the moment they see a foreigner from the US or Europe they just try to act so sweet and lure them. And the moment they see brown people oh god they get so rude and even abuse if you just ask price . The point is Saigon market people are very rude and they want to do business too . Rest of the place in Vietnam the local people are very sweet and humble.will never go to this place nor will suggest anyone.
Thank you for meeting my daughter YUKI
I'm happy that my daughter could give you the amulet I made.
Best Place ever I spend a week there going to Ben Thanh everyday, still didn't see the whole place
Whenever you ask them if its good quality/first copy they will NEVER tell you no, no matter how bad it is. LOL.
that's so true

They selling factory rejects, anything that can't be exported from the manufacturer goes to market except for the watches.
