The 5w30 oil is a good idea for those of us in the frozen north. I have the 9500 Predator…i may go with 5w30 on my next oil change.
I love my remote start generator. Everyone thought it was foolish when I bought it (because it was more expensive). I use it at my cabin and when it's cold or raining outside it's a godsend not to have to go outside and turn it off and on.
I wander if it will do 240 on the 30/50 plug and 120 on the gfci at the same time.
I love my inverter generators, tho they're all 120V only and between 1800-3500W. By the way, I wouldn't bother with changing the unit out of low idle. Those minisplits, (Mine is a 120V Pioneer 12000btu), start up really smoothly, giving the generator plenty of time to ramp up, if needed. (And you're only pulling 2000W-ish even if it's pretty wide open.) Suspect even at high levels, that genny would still be just above idle. Quiter and just sipping fuel. And the Pioneer dials everything back if it's not running full out. Mine stays around 300-500W maintaining things, rarely gets much higher. (Have to install an accurate monitor to really see what it's doing.) Even my 1800W generator runs at lower speeds on this unit. Grunts more when the 9ft freezer kicks on.. (Huge startup, then freezer pulls about 80w...) Love my minisplit! Thanks for the good videos... Stu

You can run cheap gasoline the key is don’t let it sit there long
Maybe I missed it, but how many hours could you run that mini split on a tank of gas?
At full power on the mini split that generator should run about 10 hours on one tank of gas. Understand that is a 24,000 BTU system
Hmm given the design similarities, price point, and the recent 5000 dual fuel Harbor Freight just launched. How long till Harbor Freight retires the 9500 and gives this a Predator paint job and offers this. Wouldn't surprise me if they use the same OEM
They also need to jump into the 12-13K range with 50-amp capability.
That's the only thing that kept me from buying Predator.

7500 watt diesel on standby and two electric cars that can charge off it if need be. I prefer generators wrapped in a motorhome 😂
Our DeWalt battery blew up while operating a DeWalt chainsaw . Has this been reported to you or others ?
I seem to remember hearing reports of this when those dewalt electric chainsaws first came out.

Seems like they are confused on their Amazon page one part says it has a 6.6 gallon tank and another spot says 7 gallons. Lol AND actually the bottom part that has the bullet points says

Does the remote start auto disconnect the electric load before start/stopping the generator without unplugging first?
I doubt it. Almost useless to have. My Honda eu7000is has it and I have never used it.
If you're in the house at the breaker panel or transfer switch you can remote start/stop it then throw breakers in the panel, without going outside
