Beautiful! What grit was used to get the rest of the stain off to make it all white? I’m trying to redo a small piece for practice and there’s some that didn’t come all the way off after I stripped it and not sure what grit to use when sanding the rest. I tried 80 and it helped a bit
Thank you. It really depends on your current finish. For this piece I only scuffed the base with 120grit before priming. I find personally 80 grit to be a little too harsh and it will create swirls that the paint doesn't always fill. When painting its rare that I sand off a finish back to raw wood.

@ASingleVoice84 will depend on your strippers requirements. The wrap prevents it from drying out and gives the strippera chanceto process. If it dries, you will likely need to reapply another coat of stripper. I used polyurethane to seal.

How long do you keep the wrap over remover??? And do I put like a laminate on it after staining?? Or is that polyurethane stuff??

I used a custom blend first but it was just too light. Then over with Walnut x 2 coats.
