moisture measurements aren't consistent here. at 7:35 the meter registered dry+ in soil that you just drenched, soaking wet. many spots throughout your video the moisture reading couldn't have been accurate by any means. avoid this meter !!!
I bought same from china and today I tested.
when I inserted into soil it always shows ph6 or less. also when I dip it into tap water it shows ph6
how can I make sure it is showing correctly ?
We have to let the ph tester sit in the wet soil for 5 to 10 minutes to get a correct ph reading?
For best results yes, but I think it will give result after less than a minute. But In my opinion, it is not accurate.

does the soil need to be really wet in order for this meter to work? does the amount of water change its readings?

This meter sucks. I got one and suspiciously was measuring a PH of 7 on my never neutralised soil. So I litellry made a lemon juice and it measured a comical 6.5 😂. You can't trust this
Yes, I agree with you but it's not mean for measuring liquid so it can show very wrong for liquids.

Terrible!! Percussive music very annoying. NO VOICE! Mostly about pH. Inadequate explanation of moisture. Meter showed dry immediately after watering.
If I would talk I think you wouldn't understand a word, my English is very bad. You should understand that this meter is a children's toy and not a serious and reliable soil meter.
