- Paint 1:35 face in 5 easy quick steps with Basic skin tone Vallejo paint and using some Gouache paint, which is quite a versatile paint. It can be re wetted and reworked.
The figure in the video is from the #Tamiya Sherman M4A3 kit at 1/35 scale.

Easy, simple and great results. Thanks for sharing this useful tutorial, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Cheers mate, it just worked for me with no fuss. So wanted to share so others could experiment 👍 speak soon.
Thanks for a nice tutorial that shows an easy way to paint faces. I am definitely going to try your techniques!
Cheers for comment, I posted it as it helped me and is something that seems to work and quickly. I expect it can be further improved aswell.👍
Nice tutorial . An efficient one ! Well done
Thanks, faces seem to be the holy grail with a lot of modellers. Felt like it was a big improved on my previous attempts. 🙂
I watched a lot of tutorials and I this is the one I found the most helpful thank you
Cheers, I know that feeling thats the main reason I posted it. I think it gives a basic method, that for me I can practice and experiment with. The Gouache is useful as it can be rewetted which helps with blending. Cheers for positive feedback, hopefully my other videos uncomplicate stuff aswell. 🙂
Interesting and helpful techniques, thanks for sharing
Thanks, like your channel, its about passing on useful info that I have found. Cheers again.
how did you manage that the Vallejo Basic skin covers you so well?😮🤔
Hi, I think I used a lot of gouache paint on these. With acrylic paint it needs to be diluted in water, then remove the excess of the brush, build up in layers. Cheers
How exactly do you blend the paint is it just with a dry brush?
Hi, yes thats right, you feather the edges with a dry brush so it doesnt hopefully stand out as a paint line. I find Vallejo paints quite good at this. Tried Tamiya on another project and it dries too quick. Hope this helps.
everything is really good....but the eyes....those eyes.......oh man.
Hopefully the video and channel will help, many thanks for watching.
LMAO they look awful, unless you're going for the "zombie" look.
Good tutorial but he looks scary😂
Yes, there is a bit of a look about him. Hope you found the vid useful 👍
