Have to say my fav has to go to the S-type for the 2.7. The S-type has a nice blend of loudness and richness of sound. The Atak is just to raspy and the touring just does not have enough for me. Acually the 2.7 sounds really good with borla on it.
Bought myself the S-Type for my 2.7L Ecoboost. Sounds great! The video still does not do the Borla Catback enough justice. The rich tones is missing... Even with headphones on for the video, it can not reproduce the sounds. Dont worry about the V8 trolls. Get it hands down. Hearing the turbos spool down when letting off the throttle, I cant get enough of that sound mixing in with the exhaust. I can say no rice included with this exhaust. A parking lot full of V8 trucks after work, I had a crowd around, nothing but compliments. Quit the hate, appreciate, Borla. Thank you for my second ride equipped with their products. Only thing was... I got no swag in the box.... a little disappointing... Not even a sticker... Over all you get what you pay for, don't cheap out on exhaust for a ecoboost, or you will end up with a rice cooker.
+Luke Steidle Why even bother replying if you have nothing to even say? Everyone acts like the ecoboost is so great even though it has two turbos strapped to it. Strap 2 turbos to the 5.0 and it'll mop up the floor with that ecoboost. Let that sink in and see how stupid people actually sound for defending that engine.

Why are you even bothering arguing this? This is elementary information in the car world. We have forced induction vs. forced induction + displacement. Literally do the math and you see that a boosted V8 naturally makes more power than a boosted V6 with small displacement. You realize that the ecoboosts only exist for CO2 emissions, right? Turbos and V6s have been around for over 30 years but they've only become popular recently because of the EPA. Literally, that's all they're good for and they still get shit mileage because they have to be on boost to make any power. Anyone knows that there truly is no replacement for displacement. Sorry to shit all over your argument but that's the damn truth.

I know in " sport" tune it's way more crisp... I know mine is... I got nothing against theses TT V6 engines but putting after market exhaust on them is like putting lipstick on a pig. I guess I am just use to that muscle car sound coming out of a dual exhaust setup. Times are changing that's for sure.
To some people, the sound of a good exhaust is music to their ears. I've driven cammed vehicles with headers, full exhaust for over 10 years. I don't know how people drive a quiet steed every day.

Steve Gutierrez pretty well put- though honestly I loved the sound of my cammed v8 with high flow cats. The problem with my Ecotec Ford is I forget to turn it off before I get out half the time because I can't hear the engine running.
These all sound like cars...hondas to be exact. I want something lower sounding and deeper like the old blackjack headers or glass pacs. These sound cheap AF.
As a 2022 2.7L F150 owner, all of these sound like complete ass. Just keep it stock if you have a V6. I’m happy these videos exist so I know what not to do to my truck.

If I had the 5.0 it would be a different story, nice to see someone else admit that this sounds more like a way to just make “ricey” noise at high RPM’s.
I have this truck and I loathe this sound. I regret not getting the 3.5. Is this what people who listen to Florida Georgia line sound like? I feel like this is a truck for people who have no business buying a truck. They buy a bed liner, but let's face it, nothing is ever going in that bed. They jack up a 2wd but let's face it, that truck will never leave asphalt.
None of them sound very good TBH, really raspy, almost like an exhaust leak. I have a 2.7tt in my audi and there are lots of exhausts (including borla) that sound much better, i think they could have done better than that.

Actually, the 5.0 gets better mileage under load and has a higher payload capacity. It also will last much longer than this crap of an engine.
