Super light laptops often came with a lot of compromises, but we've been eating well this year in terms of ultra portable notebooks. One of the best examples of that evolution might be the LG Gram series, which has always married portability with practicality. But now an OLED display brings vivid viewing experiences and a proper efficient processor gives performance and battery life that punches above this laptop's weight class. Here are my thoughts on the LG Gram Pro 16 OLED, an ultraportable laptop made for work and play!

Your Channel is awesome! The Viedep Qualitiy is great and I enjoy your cadence of speech, chill music and the video editing. Great review!

I love my LG Gram, it's about 4 years old. The only thing I do NOT like about it is the display. If it's too bright you cannot see the screen well. Gonna definitely see if I can trade this in for a little something off a new one.

I almost bought it, but the typing experience, compared to 2023 model, was so bad

I read somewhere that this laptop does not support HDR, is that true?

That monitor non-ad feels really unnecessary...
Also, not a single mention of snapdragon lineup coming soon that may (or may not, embargo coming down soon i hope?) make gram obsolete.
IMO speakers here are a dealbreaker, that's the main reason i like the macbooks.

I bought a secondhand M2 MB Air 15 for £700 and got 15+ hours of SOT doing office work and media consumption. Obviously, it is not OLED, but for office work, OLED is not a significant plus. I'm not sure I could return to 5 hours of SOT again!
LG is expensive but makes good-quality laptops. I dislike the Numpad and wish they had offered a non-version.
