- If you bought an electric windshield adjuster to your BMW R1250GS, you've found out that it doesn't come with ANY instructions! There are lots of little parts and a few modifications you will need to make so the install will go easily. I figured it all out so you don't have to!

From AliExpress: www.aliexpress...

I finally received the kit and installed it yesterday. Unfortunately, I was clumsy and lost one of the tiny fitting screws. The rest of the install is flawless. Thanks a ton for posting the vide for all of us - super helpful!
So glad the video helped, but that sucks about dropping the screw. Those things are tough, especially if you have big hands!
Great job, thank you!🥰
my pleasure. Subscribe and keep watching and I'll keep posting!!
Nice video! This will help me a lot when I install mine! Thank you!
Fantastic, thanks. It should save you a ton of time.
Thank you!
you're welcome!
Muy util el video, pero la complico con el desmontaje del parabrisas, con dos tornillo sale si necesidad de sacar los 4 que mostró
Unfortunately you can’t reach the two screws without taking everything apart.
I really wan this but I have the SOS button on my mirror stem, how would you get around this?
That's a good question. you could probably fabricate a little bracket to attach the controls to, but not sure how hard that would be. There is one other commenter who had the same question. You might want to look through the comments and find them... maybe they figured something out.
Question, do you think you can mount the control on the left mirror if you have the SOS button on the right side? Or other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I've got the fog lamp button on the left side, so that wouldn't work for me... if you don't have that you probably could, but you might have to splice in a bit of extra wire to make it reach. Another option would be to make a little bracket so it can clamp on the handlebar right next to the SOS button.
Thanks for the quick response and good solutions. I will probably order it and solve it with a bracket on the handlebar. Thanks again for a good video and good suggestions.
Would it be possible to have the switchgear on the left side of the handlebar...?
it would, but the fog light switch is on the left side of my bike in the same position.
Hi,still it´s working?
Yes 100%
Man oh man, how did you ever figure that out?
I just dug in and started trying things… it did involve a bit of swearing!
Ha Ha I bet it did @@mustachemoto
