Ill go ahead and add this one to my list to get. Recently bought a Leatherman Rebar to see if a multitool fits in my EDC well or not and i do quite like having one. I want to try a more modern styled one next though, A Surge has a good tool set but its $150. Probably still worth it for what you get, but at less than $50 for some of these inspired designs youve shown i might hold off on the name brand for a minute and try out a cheaper version first, or maybe ill start collecting these too and just buy all of them eventually..
I cannot go back to anything other than the gerber dual force, nothing is just at the level of griping force it has while working on nuts and stuff of that nature.
I wish my dual force was that important to me. It's pliers deformed after the very first light use. Wont use it because I can't afford to have it fail on me on the job. I really liked the design and have a mp600 that I love that's served me well for years of hard use but the dual force just doesn't stand up in my experience. Might just be a badly heatreated lemon but Gerber wanted me to pay to ship to them which they have never asked me to do on 3 other separate warranty exchanges
@@keeperoftruth5951 I understand that, they kinda feel somewhat flimsy or weak but I use them to tighten nuts and bolts which need a very "natural" motion I don't use them to bend wire or other "twisting" things, I have a separate pliers for those uses. I wish they could listen to us, users but those companies like Victorinox, leatherman, gerber, etc are well known to never listen to their actual customer suggestions.
Thank you, I appreciate first impressions.
