@addictedtobedrock5282 Thank you, it was a good little low-key day. Have a good day. It looks like it's supposed to start raining again tonight. That will make tomorrow an even bigger mess.
Very nice job grading that driveway. I retired 3 years ago and couldn't sit still so I bought an excavator and do little jobs to help pay for it. I am just curious as to why you didn't use your skid steer for this job? Also when you do your finish back dragging are you floating your blade?
@rtundlt1 Thank you. That's cool that you were able to get a machine and work it enough to help cover the cost. As for the skidsteer, I hate running the skidsteer, and I do a better job grading with the excavator. Having the 6 way blade really helps with working angles. I use the float a little bit, but the majority of the time, I run the blade manually. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
@@jeramyreberpuredirt7873 I know what you mean about the skid steer. I have not run one much but mostly because I don't like to run them. They are fantastic machines, but not my cup of tea.Thank you for your reply.
@Dogatemyhomework927 not on this one. It didn't need any pre grading. It really didn't need refreshed. They just wanted a different gravel on it. If you do have potholes, they need to be graded out not filled. If you just fill them, they normally come back fairly quickly. Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful day 😀
Jeremy, I watch all your videos and love learning things from you. I have a Kubota U35-4 and I have an issue I’m trying to get to the root cause of. When I swing the cabin left or right and stop the machine doesn’t stop straight away, it kind of bounces back and forth before it settles, and it’s getting noticeably worse. I was thinking it’s either the swing motor itself or the swing bearing getting worn. Any ideas what could cause that?
@CrankDr1 Thank you very much for watching my videos. As far as your issue, I really don't know. I have had a swing motor fail on my last 121-3. It would bind up and not let the machine swing. But they can fail in different ways. Sorry, I am not more help. Have a wonderful rest of your day 🙂
It’s a transfer truck and trailer. Dump truck is pulling a trailer with a box, when the trucks box is empty the driver will back backup to the trailer and pull the trailers box inside of the trucks box. So there is a whole other box inside of the trucks box
Dang that’s a bunch of rock. Nice job as always, you sure do make it look easy Jeremy. 😅

You sure can spread the gravel! Looks great!

Jeremy, did you have to fill any potholes first or will this new coat make them go away.

@CrankDr1 One thing you might have checked is the swing motor pressure setting. That may cause that, but I'm not sure.
Why do the dump trucks in your state have a hydraulic lift up gate and a swing gate?
It’s a transfer truck and trailer. Dump truck is pulling a trailer with a box, when the trucks box is empty the driver will back backup to the trailer and pull the trailers box inside of the trucks box. So there is a whole other box inside of the trucks box
