I decided to save all commentary for the ending of this video in order to give you enough context for this conversation, and in order for you to be able to hear Russell out in his own words. I’ve seen some comments complaining that I didn’t say anything this whole video… please watch the back half of the video! I do end up commenting & I hope in a manner that is of value to you.
    Grace & Peace! ❤

It is a far far journey from the Old Testament vengeful practices of the ancient Hebrew to the all-powerful powerful yet humble New Testament portrayal of deity redeemer who disavows his admission of being the source of evil.

You know Jesus did fail the Tanakh prophecies concerning the promise Messiah?
Having the blood of God stops him from being God.
He would need to come from a union of male and female.
Or the prophecy of coming back in his disciple’s time?
      Failed.

If Russell claims to have found Jesus then he really needs to read the Gospels. He needs to understand what Jesus expects from Russell. God will not see Russell as born again if he doesn’t turn from his sins! I’ve heard Russell using curse words several times during more than one of his videos on You Tube! If Russell is sincere in seeking forgiveness and accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior; he must read the Gospel of John first then Matthew, Mark & Luke. Followed by The Book of Acts of the Apostles and Isaiah and Daniel! He must truly be Repentant of his sins and ask Jesus to come into his heart and this is done by Faith and Faith alone in Christ Jesus!!!! I saw Russell’s video on Instagram and he appeared sincere but so can anyone if they want to try and make people believe in what they’re selling. So, I ask you Russell Brand are you really and truly seeking Jesus as the Bible tells us to or are you seeking something else? The only way to know is for each person truly seeking Salvation is to read the scriptures and study them! Ask God for Knowledge, Wisdom and Discernment from the Holy Spirit! If you are sincere in your quest of seeking Yeshua to have eternal life with Yahweh your Salvation must mean more to you than anything material! Read the Book of Job to understand why I say what I’m saying! I’ll be praying for you Russell! 🙏🕊️🙏🤲🙌🔥❤️

Too often have we as a body celebrated well known people who claimed they became Christians only to have them throw it right back in our face, or teach a doctrine that is not biblical sound. A good recent example is Kanye. This doesn't mean we shouldn't love brand and we definitely should pray for God to surround him with sound men of faith to guide him. I was graced with salvation in Christ in late Nov '22. Included in my extra-curricular reading was CS Lewis' book "Mere Christianity". I really enjoyed the book and found a lot of truths contained therein; however, there were a number of things that stuck out as wrong. The whole ecumenical bend that tends toward a universalist mindset is dangerously wrong. I credit the Holy Spirit with the discernment to identity that. I didn't find that as a driving theme throughout the book, but more how the book was introduced in the preamble. I also wholesale reject any conjecturing about an autonomous nature supposedly enjoyed by men. One week before salvation, I would have been (and was) in the other camp for what I now recognize has been a longstanding debate on this matter. I was 180'd in my salvation, pulled from a dark path against the former desires of my heart. I had been taught a sound Gospel in my youth, and that formed the building blocks of necessary knowledge to accept Christ's Gospel. But my salvation was not of me, it was inflicted upon me and ended with a "It was Christ's Gospel all along?". 15 years earlier as an agnostic, I had read Emit Fox's Sermon on the Mount. It was extremely helpful at that moment. After salvation I picked it up trying to recall a quote and within the first couple pages it was filled with utter blasphemy. Laughingly I threw it away, amazed in wonderment how God can use such things to His cause, even if they are unsound laced with error and wickedness. My blessings have been wholesale undeserved.

Since I'm not a Calvinist, I don't agree with your take at all. Men DO have autonomy and an ability to accept or reject the wooing of the Holy Spirit.

@@danacamp5437 That neither comports with my experience, nor what the Word of God clearly states.
“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to be children of God; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1;12-13
It says those who believe in Christ are given the right to be children of God. That’s salvation, right? But then it adds some qualifiers. It says salvation is not of blood. In other words, not of an inherited bloodline. Then it states that salvation is not of the will of the flesh. What precisely does that mean to you?

because the bible is a book and we are going by the spirit of truth who is leading into all truth. Jesus never said, my sheep read my book, but my sheep hear my voice...
Although we are no sheeps but the glorious sons and daughters of God. To hear His voice is to be of God and become love.
      Stay blessed!

Plenty of time for that. This will be one of many conversations. I would say going straight to bible is jumping in the deep end especially being a new Christian with a man who knows the bible word for word, meaning after meaning. You got to give a man time to find his feet to have that conversation with JP. Maybe in private, some things don't need to be in the public domain. Russel got a friend in JP to help him out. While not Christian dude very knowledgeable on such. Let's let the man wet his feet before he drowns. Its probably a year down the line. Bible a lot to take in, especially when you're studying each part. It's not as simple as a John Grisham novel. Take real time and effort to understand everything. He's about a week in officially.

I’m sure as RB continues his journey, he will continue to learn and leave behind sinful things such as tarot cards
