simply beautiful, thank you!
You are absolutely awesome.
Awesome. Thanks so much man.
Very weird specific question but I'm hoping theres like a complete effects/tone nerd out there who can answer me....or at least muse on it as well....In the solo of this song, specifically the part at 5:20 in this video...in the original recording those like 6 notes together are tonally so different from the rest of the solo. I think they really stand out. Now my question is...is it because of some sort of slow paced filter he has over the guitar, or did he overdub just that specific part with a slightly different set up? I might be wrong and it's kind of obscure, but that part has always stood out to me.
I think in the original recording you are hearing how the guitar amp's distortion reacts to playing two notes at once. Through the reduction of dynamic range and the increase of overtones it mushes the two notes together in a particular way. Maybe this is the answer you are looking for.
@@KevinBalke Hey man thanks for answering! That's really cool! Such a great solo...love how some of John's best work isn't overly technically difficult, but just well placed notes with outrageously unique "feel".
Maravilloso!
Can't stop, by the Red hot Chili peppers!
Good job. That you
wow thats brilliant! out of curiosity how do you record the drum part? sounds really good!
Thanks! I use a couple of digital plugins to recreate the drum parts
John Frusciante is a genius!! I'll try it on one guitar. But I'm afraid it'll be quite difficult;)
