Great video as always.... Hey Joe, I am following the technical series for a long time..we want to see some boxing based counter punching...we have seen punches counters with kicks in the series and also seen some counters like defend the combo and then counter...We want see some more types of boxing based counters.... Thanks for all of this contents!
tho i really like your commentating in glory, this channel and all your other stuff. i really would haved loved to see you more in the ring :/ but i get that health is one of the most important things in life. wish you the best in 2k19!
Yes. Would love to see him back too. Glory needs more Canadians right now. I'm gone, Joe's gone. Only Simon and Josh representing in Glory. But health is everything and should come first.
What about inside kick across thigh of back leg. assuming orthodox fighters, step out with left foot (to miss right hand counter) and smash across thigh of back leg.
Anyone who wants to see a mean inside lowkick in action should watch any of Rico Verhoevens fights. Although in theory they are easy to block they rarely are if you lead with a jab. Doing it consistently in the same spot will hurt
I'm always wary of someone just drilling me with a cross while countering this. Which sucks bc I like this technique. Is there a good way to get out of the way of a cross counter?
theomen49 good question! The inside is dangerous - both Spong and Silva broke their shin when doing it that way. I’ve messed my foot up that way as well. Would like to hear Joe’s thoughts on it.
Out of curiosity, why do you say the inside low kick does less damage than the user thinks? Is it because it generates less force than other strikes, the target (i.e., the inside of the leg) is more durable than other targets, or is there another factor at work for why the inside low kick is less powerful than the kicker thinks?
Every time I see these kicks I think of Silva's leg going *snap, crackle, pop*
that was a outside low kick bro
@@曼森日記 no it wasnt
Just watched volk completely jammed ortega's stand up game with this kick
Gracias mi amigo
Very interesting. This is THE VIDEO I was looking for to understand the inside low kick. Thank you.
What are ways to make the inner leg stronger to be able to take the punishment?
Short and informative. Great video. Thank you 🙏🏻.
Thanks!!!! Love from Germany
thank you, great video!!!

Thanks for all of your help this channel will blow up soon!
AWESOME video. It’s a tough kick but can be a valuable tool in the quiver
Always great info Joe!💪🏾
I turned my leg like that into my coaches kick and it just popped my kneecap out 😂
If they turn in to counter u can take advantage of that by kicking out the lead leg
Keep making more joe! I love this technique series. Also I was looking for a finish to it. Ill start using the cross after the inside low kick.
Should I turn the shoulder all the way to the said
Love yoor Series trying to do something like this! Fighting next month! Surprised you didn't mention the pendulum style?

He fought with such intensity and determination...wish there were more fighters like him. Good to know he’s taking care of his health first. #LEGEND
Thanks, I'll try ... I don't know why always when I kick down, I end up kicking the balls.
Joseph Valtellini thank you Champion!
what about up the leg for a grin kick?
It's nice ⚡⚡⚡bro!!!
what would be the most damaging version
Very Nice 👍

Hi Joe just wondering if you hold international seminars? Would love to see you here in Sydney Australia!

Can you post a video setting up double right hand
How to do a switch low kick correctly 👊? Excuse me for my english 😟

Put your lead hand out
when fighting in open stance (ortho vs. southpaw) do you prefer kicking the lead leg on the inside or hitting their rear leg?
theomen49 good question! The inside is dangerous - both Spong and Silva broke their shin when doing it that way. I’ve messed my foot up that way as well. Would like to hear Joe’s thoughts on it.
@@FirstStrikeAthletics yeah, it also seems like it is a low damage strike as well, I know that gorgio Petrosian does rear leg kicks as an example
@@theomen49 Silva was kicking with his rear leg, so it was a high damage strike, no?
@@das_hund-1 no I'm talking about the opponents rear leg
@@theomen49 Sorry, I still don't understand what you mean. Are you saying a strike to the front leg is less damaging than a strike to the rear leg?

There’s just way less power. Inside of leg is usually more tender.
Hey, I think we can pull out some money to buy him a good tripod... shall we?
