Excellent review, one of the best I've watched. In particular the discussion of the OD and ID of the thicker than normal tube allowed me to deduce why the adjustment range was like a typical 30mm tube rather than a 34mm tube. I also would prefer a turret counter and feel the zip tie tie is a bunch of malarkey for such a quality instrument. Kudos to the reviewer.
I believe the design idea behind the plastic zoom lever is that it will come off when accidentally knocked without damaging the scope. Also the scope cover are very good in that they positively lockdown flush when in open position and not flap about like butler-creeks. March also make a honey-comb adapter to cut light entering the scope.
Aaaah, so they are 34mm tubes but 40mm O.D, I’m looking at a Valdada Recon or Crusader to put on a 8.6BLK The Fix from Q. I have a Tract TORIC UHD 4-20x50 FFP MRAD PRS in a Spuhr Mount on my Sako TRG42 .338LM
