Would the DLZ be good for recording rap vocals? Seems like a good standalone recorder without the use of a computer. Could use a beat from phone over Bluetooth, record raw vocals and send vocals to a mixing engineer. Seems like an efficient way to get straight to recording vocals to send off the vocals to an engineer after focusing on the workflow of just recording.?
See you my friend figured it out. That's this channel is about. Thinking outside the box. But to answer your question this unit is perfect for that because it has effects that you can add on your vocal channel and then record your vocals to whatever or if you using ndi you can send it right to them using the internet looking into ndi. This mixer already has it.
I don’t see a lot of people posting videos about using the mixer for non-podcast stuff like you do and I do. I had my MPC OnePlus hooked up to it, a drum machine, and a synthesizer.

I think they are overlooking the fact that in actually a digital mixer. That's the point I am trying to get across.
