Regarding "Focus assist" at 2:55, it's now been deprecated in favor of "Do not disturb". You *_won't_* find it in "quick settings" (which pop up when you click where the speaker icon is), but you will find the *_immensely helpful_* "Focus" button under the calendar (which pops up when you click the date & time on the bottom-right)
I'm generally not a fan of MS, but their "Focus" feature is pretty great, and all the default settings are actually sensible (eg,
automatically turns on "Do not disturb" and disables it when the session is over,
temporarily hides badges on apps in the task bar,
has notification exceptions for calls & reminders & Snipping Tool)

is there any way to make the notifications that pop up smaller?
