    you didnt have to take the bumper off to change fogs and paint the grill.
    To change fog lights you just take off the fender liner and the corner bumper bolts.
    To take the grill off you just take the plastic cover off from the engine and pop that sucker out.
    As far as the paint goes.. rustoleum is good overall as paint. i reccomend doing a an actual clear coat cause that grill WILL start chipping.
    if you ever plan on painting ur brake calipers, find a paint that can handle high temps.
    i also reccomend getting touch up paint pen from like autozone and touch up the bumper. wont see the black cracked lines as much

      Thanks for that information! I know I didn't need to take the bumper off for it but I figured it would be easier. And yea I definitely plan on adding clear coat to the grill to make sure it doesn't chip

      Taking the bumper off definitely wasn’t easier . It’s a hassle for me when I put dlr strips on mine… NEVER AGAIN 😂

    Nice work! What did you do to your headlights? They're very clear, did you replace them or polish them?

    • @yayasgarage
      @yayasgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually didn't do anything to them. They were just in mint condition when I got the car but they're starting to get a little dirty. So I'm gonna use the headlight cleaning kit on it

      I found that unless you seal them with either clear coat or clear vinyl, the cloudiness always comes back. This time I'm going to use Spraymax 2K clear!

    How has the paint held up on the grill? Would you recommend using the same products that you utilized in this video?

    • @yayasgarage
      @yayasgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It held up well. Just make sure you prep well before painting then it will hold up well. I do recommend the same paint I used. I like it
