Unfortunately, you can’t leave feedback when the seller cancels a sale. They can decide they don’t like the final price or just get a better offer elsewhere and no one will ever know... Which of course undermines the whole point of an auction and leaves me VERY unlikely to use EBay ever again. Why would EBay risk losing a buyer for life, just to protect one unscrupulous seller?
6/5/23 Great info, very thorough & easy to understand. However, I no longer have a working computer & must do EVERYTHING on my Android phone. All of this admin info & options are NOT DISPLAYED on phones. I discovered way back in 2017 that phones don't permit "admin privileges" for Facebook, TH-cam, etc, & now eBay & probably Amazon. The only way I can rate anything is if eBay sends me an email with the purchases it wants feedback on. These emails are very sporadic. It's a long story, no need for details, but I really need to leave a negative review for a seller who ripped me off & then ghosted me. Any suggestions on how to do so with my limited technology? Thanks!

I hate that you can't leave negative feedback for a buyer. I can't inform others that the buyer left me a negative experience, I'm just boosting their account reputation.
6/5/23 99.9% of my eBay purchase experiences have been great & I've have "met" a lot of nice sellers via messaging with questions, etc. About 4 years ago there was this one electronics seller who was arrogant & wishy-washy & did a surprise "180" on me regarding a return/refund of a non-working cable charger, of all things & ... he "banned" me from his site! I believe eBay refunded my money, but the point is he got the last laugh bc ... I can no longer buy from him. So, if i see a product sold by him & try to add it to my shopping cart or try to purchase it a message comes up stating something like "seller refuses to do business with me." I don't know if this option is still available for sellers. If it is, it shows they have more power than realized.

I would really like to share this with others. Cannot find any contact information for eBay's headquarters. No phone numbers, all their help links simply returns to the first link. What a way to run a company.
Help I have requested a refund but i left a bad review before that as it has been nearly 2 weeks and i didn't recieve the poduct even if it said 3 days delivery. I have contacfed the seller scince the 4th day and they said it would take 2 more days, but it took a whole week and it is still not here. NOW the seller told me that he will give me the refund IF i change my review into positive. Feels like Blackmail, he deserves the bad review. what should I do

why does it say feedback and Review, you cannot write a review of the item. i Bought a car stereo £250 from an Ebay shop, it failed after 2 months, the seller would not give me a refund I want to write a review of the item but there is no Leave feedback or review option,

I know which buttons to press to leave feedback but I am struggling with feedback as a buyer b/c ebay removed two bad feedbacks I left but they wont tell me why, other than some general category that means nothing. Assuming I am not rude & making rude comments about the seller - the situation was that seller charged Parcel Post rate ($11) & sent in in untracked envelope $2.40. He massaged the description of the service in the listing so it suggested PP but didnt quite say PP b/c it wasnt going to go by PP. There was certainly no mention of untracked envelope. Can I state my opinion that the seller was making significant money on the shipping & misleading the buyer in this regard. Be wary & ask what the shipping you pay is getting you rather than assuming it's the usual Parcel Post service for that fee. Do not trust the words on his listing.

yeah, same! it's stupid! I rather leave it up to 6 months or one year. To see if its good or not! Sixty days is not long enough! so ridiculous!!!!
