How about if loads do exactly what you do? I've done this many times with seconds to go and still lost bid If I bid my maximum but someone else out bids could I put in another maximum bid?

What about using the auto sniping apps?

If you wait until the last 5 seconds to bid just $2 above the current $10 bid, you'll still lose if someone else's max bid is $20, since eBay automatically raises bids to that limit.

New to Ebay. What information does the seller get about you after you win before you pay?

I have tried and tried to leave feedback for two vendors on eBay neither as a leave feedback tab. So far, they seem to be lousy sellers. I don't want to do business with them again. I would really like to share this with others. Cannot find any contact information for eBay's headquarters. No phone numbers, all their help links simply returns to the first link. What a way to run a company.

These are all the tricks I use and they really work! One way I do it is, whatever the item is at when it gets to 60 seconds, I double that price and bid that amount in the last 3-4 seconds depending how my Internet connection is at the time. So if an item is at 34$ with one minute to go, then I'll bid 68$ at the last 3 seconds. And since eBay bids up for me, sometimes you win it for way less than your max bid.🎉

Hi thanks. Im a subscriber. Question please ... I want to maximize my sales potential so is it ok to list items on ebay plus also on facebook marketplace at the same time ? If a Facebook buyer buys that item, can i simply delete it from ebay with a reason of "item is no longer available" etc. ? Will ebay give me a defect or hate in some secret way, decreasing my exposure to the public with their little toggle switch ? Thanks. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon

I won one for a model kit on ebay that i really didnt want but it was super cheap and it just popped up at about 20 minutes left so i waited until 2 minutes and kept raising my bid up

I don't bid too incredibly often on eBay, but I actually say DON'T "add to watchlist" (for an auction with 0 or low bids) because if there's other people who are also looking to snipe they'll see that they have competition and may raise their bids

Bid sniping doesn’t help you win, though. It risks losing so that you can MAYBE get it at a discount. Assuming the other party hasn’t put in a maximum bid.

Why do bidders bid days out from the expiring date/time? You're just bidding against yourself and running up the price of the item.

Does my maximum bid show up in the list of current bids? Or will EBay automatically tell me that my max bud offer is too low? I don’t want to run the price up too high too early yknow

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? I know which buttons to press to leave feedback but I am struggling with feedback as a buyer b/c ebay removed two bad feedbacks I left but they wont tell me why, other than some general category that means nothing. Assuming I am not rude & making rude comments about the seller - the situation was that seller charged Parcel Post rate ($11) & sent in in untracked envelope $2.40. He massaged the description of the service in the listing so it suggested PP but didnt quite say PP b/c it wasnt going to go by PP. There was certainly no mention of untracked envelope. Can I state my opinion that the seller was making significant money on the shipping & misleading the buyer in this regard. Be wary & ask what the shipping you pay is getting you rather than assuming it's the usual Parcel Post service for that fee. Do not trust the words on his listing.
