I was so excited to see Fueguia 1833 on the thumbnail. That house make the most stunning fragrances and I wish more people would talk about them. I suspect the price point might be the reason for that but in my experience with their fragrances, they are worth the high cost. Cactus Azul and Quilombo are my faves. Also Xocoatl is another wonderful cacao fragrance by them - it’s Vanilla, Cacao, Rum.
I actually want for it to stay that way...i hope it Nevers gets like Francis Kirkdjian...especially in the US. Also Fueguia is very popular in Italy or Japon , not in the US. And that's perfect.

The way you described Fueguia 1833 Muskara Cacao as walking into a store where they process fine cacao has put it on my 'must try' list. It reminds me about past experiences of slicing open vacuumed packed 10 pound bags of roasted cacao nibs and just breathing it in! Hopefully I can find this fragrance soon.

My favorite chocolate 🍫 fragrance by far is Navitus Chocolate Queen. It is a gourmand and sweet yes, but it's not a sugar bomb and I find it incredibly wearable and sexy. I can't get enough! Excited to hear your favs :)
My favorites chocolate fragrances would be Dolce Passione by Pantheon Roma ( although dry down goes into woody direction), Sorriso - it smells like someone open box of fresh belgium chocolate figurines...lol, and sadly discontinued La Perla Dark Extacy.
Gourmand Coquin is possibly my favourite chocolate fragrance. I'm also enjoying the new releases by Navitus, Venom of Love and a Chocolate Queen. And my SOTD today was Choco Violet by Mancera - really delicious.

The first chocolate scent I’ve smelled is from Navitus - Chocolate Queen - I could be wrong but I’ve not smelled anything like it. The 2nd chocolate scent is Choco Musk. I’d like to try more since it’s a note that I really like 😊

I think Gold Spot by Sarah Baker and Boccanera by Orto Parisi are two versions that are so good on this theme. Sweet Gold Spot and bitter chocolate with chilli in Boccanera.
What a decadent list! I've seen that Xerjoff Symphonium a few places and wondered if it was any good. Though I'm not a huge gourmand fan, I do make exceptions from time to time and that one sounds interesting because I love chocolate and orange together. Gallagher Wicked Good sounds good to me as well. I have yet to get into that house so I might try to grab samples of that and some of their other offerings.
I love gourmand frags, sometimes especially on a summer night despite them being associated with cooler seasons. Valentines needs some floral. A chocolate raspberry rose combo would be amazing if done right.
Chocolate dominated scents aren’t my fav but of the ones I tried Sorriso was my fav and I got a small bottle of it. 1 spay of Sorriso and 1 spay of followed smells really good.

Sebastian, if you get a chance, I would give Corpse Reviver by Fzotic / Bruno Fazzolari a try in this vein. It does have chocolate and has a bit of a chocolatey-vibe, but like the Alias Extrait it is very complex and has a slight animalic twinge with civet, but there's a lot of interesting nuances here: chocolate, booze, fruits, vanilla and anise, blood orange. It is very interesting and very good, so I'd recommend it. Could be a compatible fragrance with something like Symphonium by Xerjoff, but with civet and not oud.

Recently walked into a Fueguia boutique by accident on Manhattan. Really like their perfumes. There are some good green fragrances and amber fragrances that I like. Wish the price is $280 for the 100ml bottle though.

Gabby just worked with them to create a chocolate fragrance, and I've heard good things about it. Haven't tried it out yet. Not a real "bomb", but I have and love Amour de Cacao. It reminds me so much of a Tootsie Roll in the best possible way, and is just a happy scent to wear for me.

I wish I got what most people got out of Sorriso! To me I smell a ton of very bitter and somehow aromatic orange, with just a hint of powdery vanilla and woods in the drydown. I smell NO chocolate in that one! There are several here I haven’t heard of yet and I’ve been looking for my perfect chocolate Gourmand so I’m excited to try some!

I like Caco Libertine best of the chocolate series as well. Chocolate is a hard scent for me sometimes it can go sorta funky musty on my skin. Not sure why but some that use chocolate as a support note are better. 🤷♀️

I would like to bring to your attention Choco Musk by Al Rehab it is cheap and leaves you smelling of white chocolate and a couple of hours later that is joined by white musk
Dame perfumery once had a great chocolate fragrance and I still have a tiny bottle of it. In fact, they had great rose perfumes and many other wonderful olfactory scents. Of course the perfume industry has gotten swallowed up by all the new brands that have evolved leaving the oldies but goodies stranded. I still have many samples of Dame perfumes and they are all pretty “Dame” good and bottle worthy.

Indaco from L'erbolario is very nice cocoa perfume too, and long lasting. I'm wearing it on winter.

I smelled it once at the Yves Rocher store but only tester was available and non for sale sadly so couldn't buy. It was almost 10 years ago though.
