I have never played Undertale. It became so overexposed by the internet in general that even a couple months after release, it just felt like there was nothing that would surprise me if I actually played it. I know about the genocide run, the save files, Photoshop Flowey, etc etc. The internet killed the game.
I played Lunar: Silver Star an unreasonable amount of times in my life. I’ve somehow never played Lunar 2: Eternal Blue and it’s still bugs me, especially with how hard it is to find now.
I know it may sound ridiculous but I've never played past the opening segment of Final Fantasy 7. Have beat 8,10,10-2, 13 I-III, and one of the Disedeas. Will feel left out until I actually play the best one (consensus says)
Best singleplayer games I never played: Undertale, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, any of the Final Fantasy games If youre also counting games that we bought but played for way too short (like an hour or two) then also The Witcher 3, Skyrim, GTA5 and Dragons Dogma 2 (my PC cant handle DD2, playing with 15 FPS is making it hard to get any enjoyment out of it lol)
I've never gotten around to playing Red Dead Redemption 2. It's one of those things that's always on my radar but not enticing enough to pass up other games.
It's a game that I love but I can see why people don't like it. It's a game you have to "live" in to get the most out of it. Exploring everything, not just jumping from main mission to main mission. Collecting the animal hides, outfits, guns, strangers, side missions, lore, details. It's a game that requires a lot of effort but gives you a lot back in return. If you don't like those kind of games, it's not for you. If you do, play it, it's incredible.
The Black and White 2 one is actually even creepier than that. It used your email contacts list to name the villagers and would whisper a villager's name when they died, leading to players hearing their friends' names randomly being whispered.
I got it on sale around the time the Witcher show was really taking off, played about an hour maybe. Probably a "me" problem, but the combat is kinda clunky and there's a lot to learn to do it right. Elder Scrolls games are the same way for me, they just don't feel right even though they're otherwise highly acclaimed, can't quite explain it.
I got the Witcher 3 a day or so after it came out, played until the first main boss and returned it the same day. You may enjoy it but it felt tacky and somewhat unintuitive to me
The best game I never played is most definitely Resident Evil 4. I acknowledge that it is one of the best games in history, but the problem for me is the genre ... I simply prefer to play more relaxing games. My favourite genres are jrpg and football manager games. Sounds boring to most, but everyone has different tastes. That being said, should I ever try a resi game, it would most likey be 4.
Hi Jules and friends, awesome videos. May I suggest Vagrant Story for single player never got to play. Always wanted to play and bear it in the ps1 days. Maybe a Deep Cut Baby
Outward is one of the best single player games I've never got around to beating. It's even getting a sequel soon. It never got enough attention from me or anyone else.
Alright Jules. I never got around to playing Kingdom Hearts 3. I played 1, I played 2, I played 1.5 and 2.5, I played birth by sleep and chain of memories...but by the time Kingdom Hearts 3 came around, I was so burnt out on the weird lore and the mobile games and everything in that universe, I just never picked it up and I know I probably never will.
I've still never played Horizon Zero Dawn, despite working at a game store where I could've played it fully for free. I was just so weary of the potential of another open world action game with a skill tree that I would spend dozens of hours going from world icon to world icon to for incremental or aesthetic changes, and even robot dinosaur hunting couldn't sway me. Even when everyone came back to say how good it was I was content to sit this one out. And now it's 7 years and a well received expansion and highly lauded sequel later I find myself in the shadow of a hulking robotic Brontosaurus of a franchise and I still am hesitant to drag my carcass and time to the top of its peak. This was truly the start of the portion of my gaming life where I started to think "geez, do I even have time for that?"
I was playing Zombie Army 4 (on PS4), when my granddaughter needed my help with some food, while I was fixing her lunch, she said Papa, your controller is talking. If you leave the game on pause long enough, a creepy woman's voice whispers from the controller speaker to "Come Back and Play" !!!
I've got a couple. Bought The Orange Box to play, Half-Life 2, and Portal but only ever got around to playing Portal. Also bought Bloodborne on a Black Friday sale but never got around to playing that one either. Not sure why on either but never did manage it.
I know that Insym on his TH-cam recently played a game that recorded his speech from earlier in the game and would play it back at different points later in the game.
As an avid Final Fantasy fan, Who's been playing since the late 90s, I've still never played FFIX. Somehow it's just passed me by, despite having played all the other mainline releases and having gone back and played the original few as re-releases
I never actually got around to Twilight Princess. I owned the Gamecube version. Preordered it. Purchased it on release day. And... I can't remember why I didn't touch it, but I just never did. It sat there collecting dust on my shelf for years until I sold off my Gamecube and most of my games when I got a Wii.
I've heard so many good things about everything Witcher, and I even have the game of the year edition of Wild Hunt in my Playstation library, but have never gotten myself around to actually installing and playing the masterpiece. Maybe one day...
I’ve always loved reading up and watching gameplay and speedruns of the Soulsbourne franchise but don’t have the skills or time to play it myself I’ve downloaded Bloodbourne twice and never got round to loading into the game
There are so many single player games that I haven't played, but probably the worst one for me to not have played is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I own it for the PS3 and the PS4 and have not played it yet because of how long it is.
Cyberpunk 2077, bought at about launch. Maybe being a dad and having a fulltime job were factors, but all the negative press on it was enough for me to "shelve it til its patched". It my understanding that it is now at a playable state and is a game. Titan fall never made it out of its packaging. Horizon Zero Dawn got about a dozen hours in and it failed to keep me engaged for some reason.
I've never played a single Final Fantasy, any Zelda game, any Resident Evils, any Elder Scrolls, Borderlands, Witcher, Metal Gear Solid, BioShock, Gears of War, Dark Souls and Football Manager games. Last of Us, Half-Life, Undertale, Elden Ring, Silent Hill too. I never had the money when I was young to get into any of those franchises, I had a Gamecube, a few wrestling, Simpsons and Mario games and then got a PS1 and had like Rayman and Spyro and that was it. I never got into Silent Hill or Final Fantasy, I had no idea they even existed.
For next week: Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. I played some GTA back in the day but was never able to get invested. Since then i havent even tried either Red Dead Redemption game, even after all the glowing reviews, mentions in game lists, and personal recommendations from friends. Note: I play almost exclusively single-player or couch co-op games.
Best single player game I never played: Bioshock. Not because I willingly accepted the spoiler about "Would You Kindly?", but rather because *THAT'S THE ONLY THING ANYONE EVER SAYS ABOUT THE GAME*. (especially TH-cam list-makers 😉)
Tyranny! Looks like an awesome game exploring being as evil as possible. I even bought it! And yet I just always get distracted by different stuff. It would finally allow me to be a bad guy too! I tend not to get to becuz I'm really bad at not being a goody two shoes at video games.
I'm honestly showing my age, but the ORIGINAL Resident Evil 4 had the exact same Easter egg of a throttling "bloody body bag" which, when shot, well....dies.
Has to be Witcher 3. Witcher 3's combat and vendors are something that pushed me away. Vendors take the junk, don't be picky, and have unlimited gold. If it doesn't count because *I did try it*, then Baldur's Gate 3. I've seen videos. I love the evil Butler goblin. But I haven't tried it.
Vagrant story. I've never gotten around to play it when I was younger and now I lack the hardware. I'd love for that game to be ported on PC or sthg like that so I can get another chance to play it.
The one really good solo title that I myself never played is Mass Effect, not a single one. I owned the original and number 3 as disc copies back in the day and never even touched them outside the case & own the remastered series on PC now.. still haven't tried them.
Did not appreciate the first name that was creepily whispered at the end of the Black and White 2 video being Jamie as I'm watching with earphones in while doing the dishes
Can you do a top 10 Turbo Graphics 16 games....my younger brothers favorite system growing up.....he took his life back in 2020. Been thinking about him a lot lately
I havent played any of the MGS series since 2. I know there are great and not so great ones but just never got to them. Also never played the Saints Row series. Looks amazing, wacky, and fun as heck. Just never got a chance
I never got around to FFIX. Everyone says its one of the best and I just...never got to it. no reason to go back now with such a massive backlog, but maybe Ill find time one day.
That one is hard since I am a finish it even if it is bad player but the few games that I couldn't finished even if I try ff13 (the characters for me), star ocean 3 (I think that I kept getting lost...?) And probably some early platformers (crash 1 and gex 1...just to name a few) because those damn things were hard.
I own star fox for the snes but i never got around to playing them its been collecting dust since 1998 when i bought it at a yardsale and yet i dont even know if they work
Best single player game I've never played is probably Elder Scrolls Oblivion... I've put a lot of time into Skyrim and have always wanted to get into Oblivion but always end up finding other games to sink my time into..
Control. I got it Free on Epic, is also on GamePass and is always on sale on Steam yet I have not opened it. Idk why but I just feel like I have to invest a lot of time to play it in the least sessions possible.
Im sitting on multiple BIG titles half life 2, horizon zero dawn , Witcher 3 and new Vegas ...to name a few sitting on my steam account un played... tend to mostly play indy and AA level titles instead currently playing little kitty big city instead 😅
Never played mass effect. Dated a girl who loved it but never got around to it and now subconsciously I think it makes me think of her so I avoid it 🤷♂️
Best single player game never played? Dragon Age inquisition. Bought it on sale during finals in college and I’ve never made it past the opening. Just got too busy with school work life and other games
Best single player game I never played. Dragon Age Origins. Watched a guy glitch and duplicate stuff for 3 hours before he even started the gameplay. Ruined the entire experience for me and he never even left the city really
Best single player game never got around to playing. Easy. P.T. I went to download the demo after I heard all the hype, only I got to it too late and it had been removed from the store before I could play it. That’s what I get for waiting too long.

Agreed. Not to mention some ex friends were obsessed with the game and just ruined it further for me.
One game title that no one really played. The Warriors. Chef's kiss, it's fantastic.
12 years, and what seems like 50 separate console releases, I have never played Skyrim
Despite the fact it's probably been released now for my apple watch, my alarm clock and my left shoe, I've never so much as opened Skyrim.
I played Lunar: Silver Star an unreasonable amount of times in my life. I’ve somehow never played Lunar 2: Eternal Blue and it’s still bugs me, especially with how hard it is to find now.
The rom is easy to find. I have it on my xpro emulator console
I know it may sound ridiculous but I've never played past the opening segment of Final Fantasy 7. Have beat 8,10,10-2, 13 I-III, and one of the Disedeas. Will feel left out until I actually play the best one (consensus says)

I've never gotten around to playing Red Dead Redemption 2. It's one of those things that's always on my radar but not enticing enough to pass up other games.
Youre not really missing anything. Overhyped really
Play it man it's literally one of the greatest games of all time
It's a game that I love but I can see why people don't like it.
@@SaintPhoenixx definitely not for people with short attention spans
The Black and White 2 one is actually even creepier than that. It used your email contacts list to name the villagers and would whisper a villager's name when they died, leading to players hearing their friends' names randomly being whispered.
I purchased the Witcher 3 and never played it. Full price and it's just sitting there yet to be played
Oddly enough same here .. lol gonna enjoy it one day right ?
I got it on sale around the time the Witcher show was really taking off, played about an hour maybe. Probably a "me" problem, but the combat is kinda clunky and there's a lot to learn to do it right. @@mj.ray0898 I'm the same man, it just didn't live up to the hype. NMS on the hand, I heard it was crap and then fell in love with it
@@Drewgglesexactly the opposite with me I thought Witcher 3 lived up to the hype but nms was worse than I feared

Best single player game I never played, any Legend of Zelda game. Never played one and i've been playing games since the 80's (go Commodore 64!)
Hi Jules and friends, awesome videos. May I suggest Vagrant Story for single player never got to play. Always wanted to play and bear it in the ps1 days. Maybe a Deep Cut Baby
I never got around to playing Borderlands 3 even though I bought it cause I was busy playing Stardew Valley and it's newest update
The Souls games (tried Bloodborne, though), Hellblade, any of the Resident Evil games. So many. Just...so many
Outward is one of the best single player games I've never got around to beating. It's even getting a sequel soon. It never got enough attention from me or anyone else.

Commander Keen did comeback into the Doom franchise in Doom Eternal as a skin for Doomguy.
Heard Jules voice. Subscribed I'm a simple man
A game that I bought and haven't played yet is Breath of Fire 4 I found it on sale and it has sat on my shelf since then

Why can't they make commander keen more accessible to us, like most older games, it seems like most companies hoard what they buy
Can you do a top 10 Turbo Graphics 16 games....my younger brothers favorite system growing up.....he took his life back in 2020. Been thinking about him a lot lately
BW 2 was a good one. That made me so uncomfortable. I thought i was losing it lmao.

So how much flack will I get if I haven’t played any of the God of War series? Do I have to start at the beginning or can I skip any flops?

I have never played a Fallout game, even though I know I would enjoy them.
That heart had something to do with Hillary Clinton didnt it?
I've got Control and Octopath 2 I've been meaning to play, stuff just comes up 🤷♂️
I own star fox for the snes but i never got around to playing them its been collecting dust since 1998 when i bought it at a yardsale and yet i dont even know if they work
Still haven't gotten around to Red Dead Redemption 2........
Best single player game I didn't get to play because of "reasons" is Bulletstorm!
Does anyone know where I can buy black and white and black and white 2?
My entry: Red Dead Redemption 1&2. I got no real reason everytime I get a time for some long single player games something else always comes up.
Highly recommend! It's such a great universe to explore with all the other game tie ins.
I have Ghost of Tsushima. Never played it on the PS4. I have the PS5 special edition. One day, i promise!
i still haven't got around to the Half Life series. Any of it.
Im sitting on multiple BIG titles half life 2, horizon zero dawn , Witcher 3 and new Vegas ...to name a few sitting on my steam account un played... tend to mostly play indy and AA level titles instead currently playing little kitty big city instead 😅
I think for me is Persona 5 royal - i love jrpgs and good story heavy games, but the 100+ hr run time is very daunting
Never played mass effect. Dated a girl who loved it but never got around to it and now subconsciously I think it makes me think of her so I avoid it 🤷♂️
You had to use my name in that whisper didn't you?
Best single player game never played? Dragon Age inquisition. Bought it on sale during finals in college and I’ve never made it past the opening. Just got too busy with school work life and other games

i dont keep up with much but where Jules go I folllow
never played any of the way of the samurai
Baldurs gate 3 i dont have enough time i tell myself
Hey guys
How can a game be "the best single-player game" if you never actually played it? Are some people experiencing non-linear time?
Wanted: Dead. Not the best because it was a good game, but the best example because thank god I didn't have to play it.
Easy one for next week Hogwart’s legacy played it for three hours straight thought it was cool then never played it again
Red dead redemption 2 for me 😅
Mad max
Hello everyone😎
Best single player game never got around to playing.
Easy. P.T.
I went to download the demo after I heard all the hype, only I got to it too late and it had been removed from the store before I could play it. That’s what I get for waiting too long.
