Love Budapest. Stayed in this city maybe 6 times. It was my go-to place in the days I had "issues" getting my humanitarian visa when I was living in Romania, working as a volunteer for some 15 years. But always enjoyed my time here. A cruise on the Danube river at night is especially beautiful. 😍😎

I see a happy family, and that's exactly what this city brings you. Last week i was there for the first time, and i want to go back there as soon as posible.

It really is a fairy tale world. There are other such places in Hungary. If you can, come again, look around in other places. For example, the area around Lake Balaton is also a good area for people with families. You can swim in the lake, hike in the Bakony Mountains, there are castle ruins... But look for a companion who can speak Hungarian, because it is not certain that you will find English-speaking people among the local people. I almost forgot. Try Túró Rudi!

I am from Budapest and I can highly recommend Városliget. It’s a big park, full of things and buildings you’ll love so much.
