My favorite YS episode is the Nobel Prize Party nobody came to the ending where you see his future friends as children themselves makes me smile especially Howard's mom yelling at him may she rest in peace
Honestly I can't think of better actors for any these roles. Just Brenda, consistently dancing on the line between likeable and unlikeable, relatable but kind of a b word. I think her acting is amazing . George is also one of my favorite. Mary who is the actual daughter of mary in big bang theory, very efficient way to give that reckognisable manerism on a character that should be younger than its original appearance, she is doing an amazing job.
I feel like there was a time Missy was watching “Blossom.” Sheldon said he didn’t know who that was, Missy, replied, “Someday you will.” Does anyone else remember this because I thought it was a great tie-in to Amy Farrah Fowler on TBBT.
Yes! I swear I remember that, but I can't find which episode. In episode 0211 she mentions Blossom, but I could've sworn there's an episode where she watches the show.
I remember on TBBT when Raj suggested that TV's Blossom would be a good choice for an intelligent colleague. (I think it was before Amy stepped into Sheldon's life.)
He also watches Will Wheaton on Star Trek TNG and he says ‘one day, he and I will become great friends’ (S3 7 or 8). This supports my theory that Sheldon is an unreliable narrator and is romanticising his childhood for his memoirs (and which explains why he does not remember his Dad fondly in TBBT)
The first meeting of Professor Proton and Penny was one of the best scenes of either show. When he says to Leonard '' she's your girlfriend?" .." then YOURE the genius."
Unpopular Opinion: I actually like the prequel more than "Big Bang Theory." Maybe it's because of the lack of laugh track, the charming performances of the ensemble cast, getting to see Sheldon as a precocious child or the nostalgic setting. And now it's getting renewed for at least three more seasons.
YES! TBBT’s last four seasons RUINED the show for me! The characters were ruined through Flanderization (I HATE what the writers and Kaley did to Penny; she became the WORST. Much like the actress, Penny became a terrible woman/wife to Leonard. I used to like Penny, but she was ruined). I hate the treatment the writers gave the men and women, and I ESPECIALLY hate the writers for their lack of care. Raj was pathetic (I think the writers are racist and hate foreigners). Overall this show by Chuck Lorre was misogynistic, sexist, racist, and negative in the portrayals of relationships and love. I enjoy watching the Coopers (minus Sheldon), I think they’re hilarious! Can I recommend something to you?
I tried to watch the first episode of Young Sheldon. It didn’t really grabbed me. Maybe I’ll try to give it another chance. I did like the Big Bang Theory show.
Mckenna Grace is becoming too overrated and is in everything, but she has about the same talent as every other actor/actress. Taylor Spreitler is amazing at her role as Sam even as a very uncommon character to appear. Brian Stepanek does amazing at his role as Mr. Givens and I'd say is better than many other actors and actresses in the show. Isabel May fits perfectly for her role as Veronica and is an amazing actress.
The irony of the 2 shows is that Young Sheldon is about a child who acts like an adult and TBBT is about an adult who acts like a child. 2 shows about the same character.
@Danyelle1994 I think he's exactly making up for what he missed. You see all the social skills adult Sheldon lacks yet he was always surrounded by ppl. That fact should have negated some of his awkwardness.
Some of the best Young Sheldon moments are when he acts like a kid: playing with trains, being a momma's boy, throwing tantrums. It's also fun to see him start to dress like adult Sheldon in season 6 with short sleeved T-shirts over long sleeved T-shirts (honestly how a lot of kids dressed in the 90s).
@@alinajeknavorian I wouldn't mind seeing the rest of the BBT cast playing as other characters, and that includes Mayim and Simon. Kaley already played as the Medford High School pool water. Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, Kevin Sussman, etcetera could all pop in as different characters. Maybe Medford Baptist Church could hire some uptight dance teacher in preparation for the Teens for Jesus dance that he would later be forced to join Missy in, and that teacher would be played by Mayim Bialik. Toward the end she could tell him that she's mysteriously fascinated by him, and he'll be a great catch for some woman someday.
@@woodworkingandepoxy643 I meant to write Kevin Sussman in the second one. Let me fix that. Also I forgot to mention that the uptight dance teacher could dress like a 40's girl. I don't know why, and I'm not into 40's girls.
I didn't recognize Cuoco's voice from the pool scene before it was pointed out to me. Bialik's voice is much more recognizable on the spot. As is Simon's.
It's always fun to see Jason Alexander pop up as a drama teacher, considering his impressive theatre background. And Reba must have had fun pretending to sing badly!
I sometimes wonder how much talent it takes for a singer like Reba to intentionally sing bad? It's the same with Jack Benny - could an elite violinist like Itzhak Perlman or Anne-Sophie Mutter intentionally make those screeching sounds while giving the impression that they are trying their best like Mr. Benny did successfully?
Pen and Teller as a pimple was great. Lance Reddick was amazin as Professor Boucher. It was so cool to see him in a different role from the John Wick movies and in Fringe.
That must have been one of the last things he did because he died around that time.I'm estimating. He played on Soap opera called another world. He was the nicest kid. My mom and I both loved him.And then he went on to play so many hoodlums It isn't funny. But we were always so proud of him as if he were our relative. I think TV actors particularly the ones on soaps feel closer than other actors. We see them on a regular basis and get to know them over a period of time. For years we see them Regularly.
Funny part about the "Lame kids show" line coming from Steve and Brian is that they were BOTH on Kids shows! Blue's clues & Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn respectively
remember when Ray Liotta played that Christmas freak in Just Shoot Me. he played himself as Kevin Liotta's cousin who was played by Brian Posehn, Bert's actor in TBBT.

One thing I found wired about young Sheldon and the Big Bang theory is that young Sheldon often seamed smarter because in the older versions he was trying to solve equations that the fans don’t get and that he struggles to solve but young Sheldon just gives away more facts and he was a kid so he looks even smarter
His voice is so different season 6! I had to get used to it lol I like how he mentioned it about him not being asked for his mom that time or something lol

Reba reminds me of Lucille Ball. It has been said of Lucy that it takes real talent for an extraordinary singer to play a character who can't carry a tune. Reba is the same way.
Phoebe of MsMojo, since George Alexander also played ‘Philip Stuckey’, the sleazy friend of ‘Edward Lewis’ played by Richard Gere, I’m not surprised he played Mr. Lundby, drama teacher/conman. I was most surprised, and enjoyed seeing the late Ray Liotta playing in a different genre.

I'm actually not surprised that the late Ray liotta was on this show since he was in an episode of spongebob squarepants where he was the leader of the bubble popping gang
Reba. I only get YS in TH-cam Shorts. I was thinking one day, "why not have Reba on as a friend of MeeMaw?" And the next day the clip where they meet popped up in Shorts. This AI stuff is scary.
A mention that Teller also played Amy's dad would have been good and the fact that Amy's mum kept shutting him out of the conversation, so he never got to talk, rather like Harpo Marx. However, in TBBT, he got to talk, unlike his character Pus.
