I used to use Netscape Navigator on Windows 7 back in 2011. I don't know what made me do that since I had the same problem as you. It didn't load any sites back then as it had long been out of support. Netscape was based on Firefox 2 I think. Internet Explorer never worked well on any site. I didn't think IE worked at all now. Since it's not supported anymore. Not even Internet Explorer 11. Microsoft have stopped support and replaced IE with Microsoft Edge.
@@technoWZ5598 Well there are plenty of other Firefox based browsers. When I was on Windows I also tried the earlier versions of Netscape. That is Netscape 8, 7, 6, and some older ones and they were not very good. Very much like IE6. Firefox has always been better. As I am on Linux I cannot use Netscape anyway.
@@technoWZ5598 Don't bother. The older versions of Netscape are worse than Netscape 9. They also install a lot of bloatware. They are also not safe as they are end of life. So it's best to just use an updated browser.
You could use the old net like an older version of TH-cam.
I think sites using basic code would work.

Its a shame these older browsers don't work anymore, Netscape would have been interesting had of it not died

@@AndreaBorman Interesting. I'll have to try some other old browsers to see if they're still usable today

Netscape is about as useful as Internet Explorer 6
