I want to put my own theory on how this might go down in the Obliteration Route. I apologize if this is long. It’s implied through context clues that Noelle will no longer be in our party either by the end of section 5 or section 6. In the normal route it could be anything. However, in the obliteration route, my theory is that Kris, Susie, and Noelle at the end of section 5 will witness the player do something unforgivable: killing TS!Underswap Chara. While we have already forced the three to kill Ness, Paula, and potentially Link or Zelda up to that point, killing someone who looked so similar to Kris was the last straw. Before Chara’s soul can shatter, Kris tears their own out, slams it across the room, and grabs Chara’s, stealing their own and regaining control of the actions before grabbing Susie and Noelle and rushing into the door. It is at this point that Gaster is finally able to give us our vessel. The player goes through the rest of the game in their own body before entering that all too known hallway. However, it isn’t Frisk waiting for us like in the other routes. It’s the Deltatravelers. And they’re done with your shit.
@@gamertypeawesome It's a Unity game, so, for some people, this wouldn't be too difficult. The real difficulty, like making almost any mod, is actually coding the logic to make it work, in a similar fashion to coding a game.
Interestingly enough this is section 7 and we arleady have 7 sections confirmed (ruins, happy happy village, fell! Snowdin, hyrule castle, starlight isles, toontown and the energy hold but none ot them fit this battle theme (outside of maybe underswap) And since LOSTCORE is more or less confirmed to be the final section this whould probably be for a unrevealed section unless a revealed section gets cancelles
I feel like a Frisk boss battle in Obliteration would be kinda similar to Papyrus' fight in Genocide, aside from the whole being 1-shotted thing, with Frisk always being Sparable and them trying to convince you to stop killing people, perhaps including them using ACTS on you for you to accept their Mercy, but with them still throwing hands for self-defense reasons.

When Wing Gaster shows you the SOULs in the jail room, both Kris AND Paula have Red Souls. Wing goes on to say that Paula carries Kris’s essence, but it’s not strong enough because it’s split across 4 humans in that world. In Earthbound, you control 4 main characters. I believe that being the main character/main characters of your story means you have “Protag Essence”, which is why Kris will *probably* go on to fight Frisk, as they’re the Protag of Undertale

I have a headcanon based on the title and somber sounding begining: Frisk somehow discovered the existence of the player and the true nature of the red SOUL, and took that personally.
So, the place where 666 was originally described as the number of the devil is the Book of Revelation, which has the same name as this song. This song, towards the very beginning uses Gaster's Theme. Gaster is also associated with 666
Star, Reunited, Once Upon A Time, Megalo Strike Back, The Legend.. (most of these nabbed from. couple other comments. not my observation at all but I definitely hear megalo, legend and star for sure!!) if this isn’t Frisk in some capacity despite ryno explicitly going ‘ yeah there’s enough hints to figure out who this is ‘ I will deltatravel to an active volcano
I actually prefer to think this is the Vessel's theme more than Frisk's, as this song possesses leitmotifs unknown to Undertale, and as "Revelations" could easily mean this fight is supposed to reveal the true identity of the player to the cast.
I like the headcanon that getting to this fight is where you'll have the least control over Kris. They're in a state of terror and dread over the now-prominent objective of killing their "mirror" in front of them. Even the "Legend" motif here feels dreadful. You can literally force Kris to take the life of their mirror, and now the idea of control is dangling in front of their puppeteered body. Such a great little vessel, right?
i feel like that because this track is so intense, it has to be geno frisk. In the later interludes we will probably get teased that some monsters are getting killed by a genocidal human, and the undertale monsters will blame kris for it, forcing the gang to escape via gray doors again. And in the section 7 interlude in the last corridor maybe after sans judges us, frisk will come in expecting to fight sans. (theoretically this also could be used when sans gets to judge us on a genocide route, giving us another sans fight instead of frisk, but i feel like they wouldnt do that again)

Ok we’re definitely getting a Genocide Frisk fight if they’re the one getting this banger. (Ik Neutral Frisk exists, but yeah.) We’re all thinking that this universe’s Frisk would be a pacifist, but the *revelation* that they decided to go with the genocide route and turn everything we loved, the caretaker of the ruins, a jolly Snowdin Town and what may show up in future sectors like Hotland, into a landscape of dust, all in the background while Kris, Susie, Noelle and Sans are going across worlds trying to get to the former three’s home. Our thoughts have betrayed us and now it’s us three against they who managed to kill Undyne the Undying. That’s something that this song encapsulates. Oh yeah, and there’s also the motifs relating to Frisk somewhat showing that we’re fighting them, plus the Megalovania instruments also contribute to this Frisk going Geno. Can’t wait for the opportunity to kill this kid to come.

Basically, at 2:22, it switches to show Frisk's alternate sprite, as though they are being controlled by Chara now. 222 has many meanings, but one that stood out to me is duality, two pieces of the same coin... TWO PEOPLE IN THE SAME VESSEL. Kris is an anagram of Frisk, minus the f. Chara is stated to be able to control Frisk's vessel due to the fact that they both have the same kind of soul. A similar situation is presented with Kris, but there isn't another human to control him, the only other person who can control Kris... is us, The Player. (Yes i ignored the fact that we also control Frisk in undertale, but PLEASE HEAR ME OUT.) One of the comments made me realize that it might be possible Frisk will end up possessed by Chara for the fight. Chara seems to awaken earlier than usual in hard mode, so if that still applies outside of hard mode, Chara might awaken outside of genocide too, albeit pretty late.

It's "mus_star.ogg", an unused track from UNDERTALE that was meant to play against Madjick when you stood still for long enough during the chaser orb attack, but was scrapped due to it causing issues with the CORE music playing in battles. In DELTATRAVELER, it plays when you find Frisk in section 1, and when you meet Noel at the end of section 3. As such, in the context of DELTATRAVELER, it appears to be the theme of someone finding another universe's version of themself. Its inclusion in this track is one of the many hints pointing towards this being a Frisk battle theme.

Gaster is the one orchestrating this fight, so it's going to be for some cause or another. The Obliteration version of the boss fight has got to be interesting. Theres no way Susie and Noelle will help fight what is essentially a younger Kris (Noelle & Dess even call them baby Kris on hard mode). Plus, Susie is already growing more and more hostile.

Section 6 is Mario & Luigi, after it there's an Undertale intermission, similar to the one after Section 3, which definitely points to Frisk being the boss there. The judgement hall does indeed happen after Toontown, which would be right after this fight.
There's a lot of stuff in deltatraveler hinting that frisk is Kris. I think I detailed it in some of my replies? I don't remember and don't feel like doing it right now and need to go to sleep so I guess look through the replies of comments I replied to.
She's definitely seen the video, as she sent a message in the channel I sent it in in the Deltatraveler discord. She just stated that frisk will always be on the route no matter yours, though, she didn't say anything about the video

I like the headcanon that getting to this fight is where you'll have the least control over Kris. They're in a state of terror and dread over the now-prominent objective of killing their "mirror" in front of them.
Even the "Legend" motif here feels dreadful. You can literally force Kris to take the life of their mirror, and now the idea of control is dangling in front of their puppeteered body. Such a great little vessel, right?

i feel like that because this track is so intense, it has to be geno frisk. In the later interludes we will probably get teased that some monsters are getting killed by a genocidal human, and the undertale monsters will blame kris for it, forcing the gang to escape via gray doors again. And in the section 7 interlude in the last corridor maybe after sans judges us, frisk will come in expecting to fight sans. (theoretically this also could be used when sans gets to judge us on a genocide route, giving us another sans fight instead of frisk, but i feel like they wouldnt do that again)
RynoGG confirmed Frisk is pacifist, so while this would be interesting, I'd doubt this happen.

@@silugs6301 There is an obliteration route exclusive track named "Retribution" as well. I think the fight happens because Kris might need the essence of Frisk, which is hinted in Section 1. This track is too intense otherwise, for sure.

Ok we’re definitely getting a Genocide Frisk fight if they’re the one getting this banger. (Ik Neutral Frisk exists, but yeah.)
We’re all thinking that this universe’s Frisk would be a pacifist, but the *revelation* that they decided to go with the genocide route and turn everything we loved, the caretaker of the ruins, a jolly Snowdin Town and what may show up in future sectors like Hotland, into a landscape of dust, all in the background while Kris, Susie, Noelle and Sans are going across worlds trying to get to the former three’s home. Our thoughts have betrayed us and now it’s us three against they who managed to kill Undyne the Undying. That’s something that this song encapsulates.
Oh yeah, and there’s also the motifs relating to Frisk somewhat showing that we’re fighting them, plus the Megalovania instruments also contribute to this Frisk going Geno.
Can’t wait for the opportunity to kill this kid to come.

Basically, at 2:22, it switches to show Frisk's alternate sprite, as though they are being controlled by Chara now.
222 has many meanings, but one that stood out to me is duality, two pieces of the same coin...

Kris is an anagram of Frisk, minus the f. Chara is stated to be able to control Frisk's vessel due to the fact that they both have the same kind of soul. A similar situation is presented with Kris, but there isn't another human to control him, the only other person who can control Kris... is us, The Player.

i have pain hearing this music considering what would happen on an obliteration run.
One of the comments made me realize that it might be possible Frisk will end up possessed by Chara for the fight. Chara seems to awaken earlier than usual in hard mode, so if that still applies outside of hard mode, Chara might awaken outside of genocide too, albeit pretty late.

I can still imagine this in the Obliteration route, as is Frisk see us as the unredeemable being that cannot be defeated by peace and friendship, which is why they decide to FIGHT for the first time, but in other routes ? It's "mus_star.ogg", an unused track from UNDERTALE that was meant to play against Madjick when you stood still for long enough during the chaser orb attack, but was scrapped due to it causing issues with the CORE music playing in battles.
In DELTATRAVELER, it plays when you find Frisk in section 1, and when you meet Noel at the end of section 3. As such, in the context of DELTATRAVELER, it appears to be the theme of someone finding another universe's version of themself. Its inclusion in this track is one of the many hints pointing towards this being a Frisk battle theme.
I assumed it was in actual Undertale as well because it appears in UTY

The Obliteration version of the boss fight has got to be interesting. Theres no way Susie and Noelle will help fight what is essentially a younger Kris (Noelle & Dess even call them baby Kris on hard mode). Plus, Susie is already growing more and more hostile.
