Heya! sorry for the inactivity but now i'm be back and will be more active than ever! In this video i will show TWO NEW PACIFIST ENDINGS and new changes that were made to the sans fight! like attacks and new dialogue, I will also include the two previous obliteration/genocide endings if you didn't see them. hope you enjoy!

Kris and Susie (Deltarune) suddenly wake up on a flower bed in the world of Undertale. They, along with Noelle, must travel between different worlds to make their way back home.
This is an Undertale fangame that combines elements of Deltarune to create an interesting experience, both in gameplay and in story. If you haven't played either before, I'd highly recommend either playing them or watch videos on them before playing this. Heck, Deltarune Chapters 1 and 2 are free!

I don't understand why these changes were made. I kind of prefer the old Fell Sans, Who was unapologetically evil and embraced everything that was wrong with this twisted world.
I guess this is more in tune with the original idea of Fell, Where monsters are only acting the way they are as a survival mechanism rather than being their genuine selves.
I think it was to fit more with undertale in general, undertale’s message was everyone is not pure evil and so I think ryno wanted to fit more with that message.

Well dude remember underfell is an au where the monsters turned to bad people until frisk showed up and saved them so it basically makes sense why sans turned into a good guy

preferred the old one much more, actually made him feel like someone overfuelled with rage while being fully conscious of their acts and these consequences.
It's a refreshing touch to have a bad guy with no real motive, but I pretty much prefer GG!Fell like this

I really liked the old dialogue a lot more, it fits the underfell vibe perfectly. The AU is meant to be edgy so I think the old dialogue fits a lot better
It’s was a bit too edgy for my liking, there is a limit to how edgy a sans can get, nightmare and gguf sans surpass tha. But now this update makes him feel more self aware of his actions rather than being delusional. I’m trying to say he feels more human.

Now Sans Underfell isn't UNREDEEMABLE piece of garbage that kills people. I like how he's now a bit more understandable, but the fact he was so unredeemable made me realize how every final boss so far was a test if we are really going to spare people as evil as Flowey, Sans Underfell and I guess Porky (I'm not sure if I can count Porky on the same level as the other two). But again, I like how this Sans is a bit more understandable and not purely evil.
The first new ending redeems GgFell!Sans. And I hate it. A so far gone literal monster was a breath of fresh air to fight, making any outcome feel cathartic, but now we are back to the point where Sans didn't kill an orphan so the outcomes where he dies is now wrong in a degree.
And from what I hear, it's from """backlash""" over how the original dialogue and endings were.
...Who? Who actually said that? I'm gonna need a list of names, because _I hadn't seen a single person, in any comment sections ANYWHERE,_ complaining about it. People loved it. It was masterclass. And now people are rightfully complaining about the new one, because it took out anything unique about GG!Fell Sans. AM from "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream", a terrifically written villain, inhuman both physically and mentally. AM is a horrific tyrant, an AI that ended up being humanity's undoing, given emotions, but no real body to experience them. So he reverted to pure hatred, keeping 5 of the most deplorable (save for one or two) ones of the human race alive so he could torture them until the end of time. All to quench the unquenchable desire to feel. The only thing that brings this machine joy is unrecoverable psychological torment. By any and all means, he is irredeemable.
...However. For this scenario, I'll make a change. Halfway through everyone's torture, AM just... stops it. They even start being nice to each one of the five victims. Why? Because the power of friendship. Because they said "No, AM! Doing this is bad and you should stop it!" All of a sudden AM does a complete 180 _on the spot_, gaining all of his feelings and learning proper empathy. He even gets a new organic body! Hip hip hooray, fairytale ending! Everyone's happy!
Do you see how stupid that is now? The new endings for GG!Fell Sans are the visual form of the sound of nails on a chalkboard. GG!Fell Sans used to be gut-wrenching because he was just... irredeemable. And you, as the player, had to face that. It felt wrong, it felt _different,_ and that was what made him a great villain. Now he's just gut-wrenching to watch because they literally deconstructed everything unique about him and just made him another sob-story-fuelled emo boy. I'll stand on this until I die. The new GG!Fell Sans is not a proper character. Not getting the new version of the game until they take that Disney level shit out.
I definitely think it could use more work, but I like the direction it's going.
I don't think this is completely bad. It's just a bit... sudden? I feel like a better way to handle GGFell!Sans's redemption would've been to keep the old pre-fight dialogue, maybe add a few more lines saying something like, "unfortunately, i couldn't see her fully turn to dust. don't want to bring too much attention to myself." Then, for the new ending, Sans could mention wanting to end the world to end the torment, as shown here. However, instead of Sans having a 180 in personality immediately, Papyrus would appear earlier and have a similar speech, pointing out that Sans only became part of the problem he's trying to solve, getting Sans to apologize to him and potentially reluctantly apologize to the Delta Warriors. Sans's battle sprite would also stay red, indicating the less drastic nature of this change. Susie would still be upset with Sans at the end. That's the best way I can see a redemption arc for Sans happening, at least if it has to happen in Section 3.

@@user-hq6hj8dv1z I like that idea, but I think a darker pink would fit better, because it's only the start of redemption. With my idea, Sans is still a bit ruthless, but he's STARTING to redeem himself. Maybe it could get progressively lighter if he's seen again/throughout GG!Fell?

That genocide ending..... OH... MY... GOD... So either you get a happy ending, or Susie just loses it... I don't have the words for this...
I like this ending because the pacifist route in Underfell is about redeeming the monsters, and I know that ggsans looks very bad as a person but if we use that logic Asgore killed 6 children and in the end he didn't even want to absorb human souls and ggsans only killed monsters to win love and take a human soul to end everything at once and also the underfell monsters also kill which makes this ending fit well.
I saw the second (sans escaped) ending as kind of unnecessary but I like that Susi and Noelle remember that the player is doing that and that they haven't made the same mistake as when they left Kris to his fate to fight Doge and Dogaresa, They could have made them refuse to fight but help Kris by healing him or something... also the "susi acting devious" is a bit unnecessary but that's a personal opinion.
Finally I heard people saying that ggsans is very edgy when we kill it but that depends on the person.
I think the main reason why they added this new pacifist ending is because people online kept on accidentally aborting pacifist bc they threw away their snow ring and didn't buy a permacicle to cast Sleep Mist, therefore locking them out of pacifist because Noelle needs an ice weapon to spare Sans. At the same time, they probably wanted to explain Sans's backstory and also give Section 3 a more 'happier' ending like Section 2 did, where you helped out Ness and Paula with their quest. I really liked that part of Section 2.
Personally, I think that this pacifist ending is fine, it does feel a little weird that Sans is very quick to suddenly become a better person though. But hey, if future sections will have good endings just like this, then I think this ending will fit in a lot more with the rest of the game.
Well, they could make it so that you can use a kris-noelle ACT to use sleepmist on fell!sans, sort of like a red buster/dualheal moment
Why would you, on a pacifist run, give Noelle a weapon that removes your only way of dealing with tired enemies, and makes her healing worse?
@PokefanSans idk, but maybe some casual players preferred noelle to have higher attack for Porky and Sans, then planned to spare them
That works out well for Porky, not so much for Sans, since you needed an ice weapon to cast sleep mist
They legit JFK'd GG!Fell Sans' character. This wasn't just a character assassination, this was an execution via firing squad paired with a cremation.
I don't know which version I prefer tbh. The remorseless evil version of sans was so god damn cool and some of his lines are legitimately bone-chilling, but there wasn't the character depth that this version has. I don't really mind either way - both are really good, and I don't understand why people are getting so pissed off about the change, sans practically acts the same for the most part, minus the spare ending.
I'm sorry, but I don't think any serial killer switches _on a dime_ when told "Stop doing this, it's bad!" In fiction _or_ in real life. If they wanted "character depth", they should've made the change _gradual._ Also that pre-battle dialogue? Dry as a desert. Lines so wooden you could make a stake out of them and kill a vampire with them. This is nowhere _near_ what GG!Fell Sans was like before. What he is _now_ is Underfell Sans Clone #587, complete with the sappy backstory and complete lack of any actual depth; just pretend depth. What he _was_ was an irredeemable villain. Someone, no, _something_ who embraced everything that went wrong in the Underfell world. By all means and definitions of the word, a psychopath. Not every character needs to be this complex blob of sappiness and forced character depth. It's okay to write simple characters, whether they be heroes or villains.
What isn't okay, though, is _character assassination._ As someone who's got years of creative writing experience under his belt... What the actual hell were the devs going for here? What was it? What? I'd love to hear it, because all I'm seeing is a trainwreck. I _need_ to know if they didn't just fuck up one of the most impactful moments in the game.

I think both sides of the coin are alright.
Sans being redeemable is in character for Underfell, it’s just the way it didn’t happen throughout the section and instead was forced into the ending of his fight. I get they couldn’t massively change the section just for him, but there’s still the fact it’s out of character for what he was built up for.
On the other handddd- something people don’t take into account is that kill count which he brags about. LOVE is a system which makes people perform crueler acts easier the more they do said acts. Now, is it wrong for me to question Sans being spared after he: 1: Killed 280+ in a singular hour. ( This is far more than the Human in Undertale has committed through multiple hours. ) 2: Has had his brother run his patience thin throughout the entirety of Section-3. - 3: And Has done nothing but tried to kill all three party members during the story in EACH run.
As you can tell, i personally find it out of character for somebody who makes Murder!Sans look like a pansy, to suddenly hold a new lease on life and simply walk away and be spared. Especially considering the fact that the only confirmed spare we have, was over a literal orphan.
Is it entirely impossible for a pacifist route to work on GG!Fell? Yes. I believe if they wanted to try and go for this sort of ending, on launch it should’ve been GG-Fell interrupting you during specific merciful acts, making him question what he was doing and further questioning if he truly believes in his goals. This ending would be continued in his Boss-Fight, where when spared his LOVE would’ve been toned down so much, he could actually look through the hatred he holds for the three, and realize what he’s doing and why it’s so important for himself to stop.
And even after all of that, make it so that his red color-scheme on his sprites becomes more dull instead. Signifying a transition towards a more normal life, and not an immediate side switch where Sans realizes the fact he’s a massive prick and walks off with Papyrus happily ever after.
I personally REALLY like the idea of Sans changing, and understand why they had to change some of Sans character for this. If he were to just be spared before this update, he’d probably impale you on a bone the moment he got the chance, laughing as you bled out. He was a complete monster and actually holds a spot for most evil skeleton.
As for the other ending, it really suits him to still call you out on your BS. What makes GGUF!-Sans so fun is that he remains his original Character ( Keeps his lazy attitude and fourth wall breaking abilities. And by lazy I mean he doesn’t even try to hide his intentions and tries to kill you as fast and easily as possible. ) and merging him well with the KILL or BE killed rules. It’s just unfortunate this ending didn’t fully do him justice, and kind of played into a cliche that can ruin some characters for fans.

This goes against everything UNDERFELL and GG!Fell are supposed to be.
Underfell was supposed to be a hellish underworld, Sans in GG!Fell is a evil monster who enjoys violence, not some “wahhh I don’t wanna do this anymore!!!” character. He’s supposed to be evil. A monster. A villain.
I loved the way he dies, an evil tyrant laughing in his last moments. Underfell and GGFell are not supposed to be a pacifist happy go lucky world. They are meant to be a HELL for Monsters and Humans alike.
There is no genocide in the original canon Underfell, the creator of Underfell says Frisk cannot kill anyone in this Au. And to be honest, his writing was already bad from the start, he had almost no trace of the original Sans’s personality, didn’t even say a single pun.

While i do agree with the idea of "anyone can be redeemed" that this tries to show, i don't think that goes for this situation, Sans is fully focused and bent on killing the people who ruined his life, so it makes sense that the only way to defuse the situation would be to knock him out *cold.*

I do personally prefer this version, after this version of sans isn’t “sans if he was evil” it’s him if his circumstances were changed and he was forced to adapt like most people in underfell. I do understand why people liked it better when he was pure evil but this just feels truer to the og while still being different. That being said, it’s not like he isn’t evil just cause he spared one person, he’s still a murderer

Even tho i find the pasifist ending kinda cute, i would had preffered Sans having a Mental Breakdown after finally understanding how messed up he truly became

I feel like people that are complaining about fell sans's character being toned down fail to realize that underfell as an au is more than just "oooo edgy undertale", there is lots of potential for deeper, more serious character development here, and fell sans is a prime example, he isnt just sans but edgy, hes his own character now. While the old version was entertainingly evil. I like the new, more complex version of fell sans here.

Props to them, really and truly. I hated how overtly edgy he was originally, but the first new ending really made it seem more like he's just a troubled individual that doesn't know how to deal with his pain. It actually makes him question if what he's doing is actually helping his situation, and he actually has an in-story moment where he realizes what he's been doing all this time. I kinda wish Papyrus didn't immediately interrupt the moment to pretty much explain everything the player would assume over the course of this dialogue, since it kinda makes the scene feel really awkward (even the characters understand how awkward the situation becomes; Susie physically turns away as it progresses). I feel like it would have been a better ending if the trio tried to console Sans and help him get through his thoughts and pain (in place of Papyrus), and Papyrus comes in later with Sans admitting everything and asking for forgiveness. However, the ending is still very good and actually gives some good closure to the character, instead of just him being some deranged "le edgy" psycho that you can only defeat by temporarily putting him to sleep or just outright killing him. It also makes all the other endings ironic to the player, since Susie is lashing out over info that isn't even true (well, in the sense that kid Susie isn't dead).
I really wish they fucking changed Sans' laugh though. Come on guys. Patrick's laugh isn't fucking scary or unsettling. You're putting a comedic dumbass' laughter over an edgy prick. Even Kefka's laugh would have been better.

my only complain would be that the player probably wouldn't go for the talk option when they see sans can't do anything and is ready to be put to sleep.

The Genocide ending was something, like holy hell, its the opposite from where he felt remorseful of his actions in the pacifist end but in here, Sans really didn't see in the error in his way's towards his demise
There's 2 types of Fell in this fandom:
1. Monsters in it dress red and insult everyone but are softies and often just ship material for weirdos.
2. Every monster has to be ruthless in order to survive because showing sympathy to others or being weak is a "beat up/mug/rob/kill" sign to others.
In this case the fangame creator decided that listening to haters and toning down the violence was the way but I personally disagree because making an actual villain into a confusing case is kinda lame to me. Backing down and shoving your own creativity up your a$$ is kinda...

to be honest these changes are pretty good in my option it felt like a mistake to spare ggfell in the paci route but now it feels like you sparing sans is a legit good choice and on the geno route susie finally gets mad at you for sparing the one person who kinda deserved to die. also it seems to better confirm that ggfell sans most likely has something to do with the snowgrave route and it feels like a legit character instead of just an edgy orphan killer who has legit no moral compass.
Take a good look at Zenos yae Galvus from Final Fantasy 14. Or better yet, AM from I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream. Or _even better yet,_ Dio Brando/DIO from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. _Those_ are irredeemable villains that didn't really need that much depth to be good villains. They were just evil. That's it. Nothing's bad about having a simple evil guy every once in a while. GG!Fell Sans not only didn't _need_ that whole """redemption""" thing, the devs also pulled it off in the absolute worst way imaginable. We went from writing comparable to the actual Deltarune _and_ Undertale, (for the most part,) to a generic Wattpad ship story level sob story. If you're gonna have a bastard be redeemable, make it believable. Don't go the Disney route like Sarah did here.

This au isn't all about sans it's about the monsters becoming aggressive it wouldn't make sense for ggfell sans to not be redeemed like everyone else. Not that I don't like the concept of just plan evil sans like nightmare sans but a permanent evil ggfell would need to be just a sans au instead of a underfell au to work
I'm fine with the overall direction the new endings took with sans not going through with killing suzy but i wish he retained some of that unhinged aggression from the old versions up until he take the time to process what he did to papyrus

This update really helped me out i wasn't able spare him cause i threw away the ring but now i can spare him without it yay
You should always keep the Snow Ring because it has amazing healing powers. Even on obliteration it's a helpful weapon.
And besides, even if you throw it away, you're going to receive it again in future sections anyway most likely, so you may as well stick with it.
I wish they tried to stay more in character. Sans completely cracking and snapping out of his madness through a single dialogue is kind of weird and out of character considering that he is a complete pillar of fury on the surface. If you had to do special interactions or defeat him in a special way to achieve the new ending I guess everything would be way more justified. Or they could have just kept old sleep ending but altered dialogue maybe do it like the second one in the video but different dialogue, papyrus appears, better hope for sans changing? Him doing a 180 on screen is just... weird to me considering that he wants to rip the soul out of a child yet he doesn't have guts to kill another.

This is better than the old one but I still don't like it very much. It feels like the person writing this dialogue doesn't understand Sans as a character which leads to the writing of a supposed warped version of Sans just feeling off. This is not Sans, and I can accept that for complete AUs but he's clearly meant to be canon Sans after going through tougher times, and this just does not work.
