I know someone said something similar already, but I will say it here. Sans won in every possible way.
The only way to beat a troll, is to quit
But since Crossbones wants us to quit, there is no way to beat him
Except one
We still gain Exp or Execution Points after beating him, despite him being alive or not.
Which kinda help us continue our ruthless path.
And if at the end, we erase everything like Undertale, then he is gonna die too.
Eventually when the fangame is finished
In like.. 5 years or something
@@user-vc5rj1jz7che still manages to get people to evacuate during his battle, stalling for an ungodly amount of time. In the end, it’s still a net win since you get way less monsters to fight.
@@Croissantcreep Though, we do basically get the same kills in Undertale's Snowdin.
But if people didn't evacuate, then the kill count would be way higher probably.

Damn bro laughs at anything
The line where he compares you to an airplane got me
I feel like the game is gonna get a whole lot harder from here on in. With Sans stalling for time, it's likely that Alphys was actually able to evacuate all the weaker monsters in time. I sense a lot of run-ins with Royal Guard and Navy soldiers ahead.
In addition, Sans managed to escape as well. Meaning he'll be doing everything he can to make our life hell. The Underground may have just laid down to die in Undertale, but it sure as hell won't here.
How do we even know sans is even gonna attempt to do anything? For all we know, he gave up and escaped. Besides, ain't no way the navy and the royal guard will do any better than him. The bosses tho, they'll probably be challenging.
To be fair in undertale toriel had no way to communicate outside of that door or atleast didn't have time to warn anyone do to trusting you a bit to much while ts asgore had a chance to warn everyone
@@R816-kn8xqdid you skip the navy chase segment? They're not kidding around, I doubt we'll be able to easily pick off lone monsters anymore
@@aasdkoaskdasddad6515 The chase sequence is a joke, honestly. And it's a game mechanic, not a representation of how strong they actually are. Or do you really think sgt splosion is stronger than undyne the undying just because the latter can't insta-kill us?

Something neat I've noticed, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Sans only ever used soul slam AFTER the mask was destroyed, which makes sense because if he was playing a role, he'd have to act like other monsters, who normally don't have soul slam as an ability
Same with teleport shenanigans

no, that's not true. sans used soul slam/gravity manipulation on the soul before his mask came off. sooo uhhh yea :p

It's such a hilarious contrast. Sans criticizes those who use their strongest attack last, Crossbones criticizes those who use their strongest attack first. What a funny character flip
0:44 is my favourite part by far
what I like about this song is how simbolic it can get,SPECIALLY in the final attack
the way chara's theme(megalovania) slowly starts to overcome sans theme while sans theme starts to speed up in order to keep up is just REALLY creative
If Chara had a battle theme it'd more than likely be Monster Bash ( Vs Harry and Larry in Genocide) , because it includes beta Undertale (commonly associated with Chara), has the vanilla Chara ambience and A Special Feeling (when you exhaust the kill counter)
@@raysomethingsomething megalovania has all descriptions for ut chara theme

1-ok this one makes sense so I don't really have anything to argue about it, most I can say is that toby knew this song would blow up so he could have found a way to rearrange the "megalo" part to fit the player's description
2-to be fair in pacifist/neutral to the monsters she is considered the true hero since she is the most likely to take your soul and break the barrier so I honestly don't think this one is as compelling
3-the main beat from battle against a true hero if you listen closely is pretty similar to spears of justice, just using different instruments, the smash part however yeah you can be right about this segment
*nyoooooom
* look you're an airplane.
0:10 to 0:32 was my favourite
Possibly it is not the theme of ts sans as such, but of ts chara, since in a few words it is the hero against the villain, assuming that ts chara describes his actions
I think that it's a bit of both, the MEGALOVANIA Leitmotif being from Chara's.
"this song is for Chara/sans" fan
vs
"every song and motif is made to represent a certain type of situation" enjoyer
I think I heard this theory before…
My gosh
Jesus Christ. The shitty megalochara theme is here too now.
The protagonist of the game is chara, even in the evil spooky oooo route. The protagonist is fighting another character. This is the theme that plays during that interaction. It is sans’s theme.
