Seeing Noelle in that dress makes me think of Hyrule's royal guard mistaking Noelle for Zelda & assuming she's just in her dark world form but her failing to dispute it properly because "dark world form" has a different meaning in Deltarune. That & she's bad at communicating under pressure.
Actually come to think of it, Ganon could probably make the same mistake. Especially considering Noelle's a magic user.
Noelle wouldn't know what a Dark World form is, because she thinks the Dark World was just a dream

@@kiwipomegranate yes she does still think it's a dream in deltatraveler, when Susie says we need to get to Hotland she says "wait, am i dreaming again?" and when we interact with doobie Ralsei for the 3rd time she says something like "they were in my dream yesterday"
Considering Noelle presumably won’t be with us at the start of this section, we most likely wont have access to lightclear until we save her, which is gonna be interesting.

Well Ryno's note for this section is to keep the art style. So who knows.
So, after getting to use light clear everything would change and it would prob make sense to have it be in the middle of the story and be able to backtrack...
The Devs would need to make 2 separate versions for every room OMFG

in the Genocide route if you beat the secret boss Jerry you get the Duster Blade which is JUST a sword

alright I dont think Ryno said this already so here is my theory the reason Susie isnt with us in this section (pun unintended) is because she got locked up in either one of the dungeons or in the hyrule castle and this SECTION (pun intended) is Kris, Noelle and us trying to save her
No because in a showcase livestream when kris is in a different game style Noelle isn’t there

This is my absolute favorite soundtrack to come out of Deltatraveler, I keep coming back to it
Noelle and Kris's nervous expressions allude to exactly the kind of tense dungeon crawling I expect from an arpg like Deltarune. Also, light world Kris wielding a sword is dope asf. Deltatraveler is peak fanfiction. Super exciting, thanks for sharing

I heard Ryno was going through rough times. I’ve been praying about it often, and I’m glad to see Ryno up and doing things again.
Section 4 will be very interesting, especially since, Unlike EarthBound’s section, this one will actually play like the original game. Good luck with coding all of that! ❤
(P.S: It’s thanks to Deltatraveler that I’ve finally played EarthBound. The lore between it and Undertale is insane, and I really feel you did an exceptional job in replicating everything down to the bullet patterns of each enemy. It was often that I went: “Ooooh! I see why that bullet pattern works like that in Deltatraveler now.” Your attention and effort in detail and lore is excellent, hence why I am here and awaiting this new section, contemplating what you’ll do to make this mirror the original in a Deltarune-like fashion.)

Man I can’t wait for Section 4, it’ll be so fun working together against Ganon and his forces. It’ll also be fun to cause the downfall timeline, except this time unrelated to the events of Ocarina of Time.
This game is already on the downfall timeline, but Kris causing a second one...? Oh man...
If you wanna cause the downfall timeline you gotta go to majora's mask, hyrule is already in its downfall
We will probably fight link/Zelda in obiliration route just like how we did with ness and paula
Weird theory but I think Susie is accidentally gonna wind up teaming up with some of gaonn’s monsters after sparing them
@@SimonSaysDeathYeah, especially since the normal downfall timeline is already bad enough as it is.
I was thinking that since this is separate, but still connected given how BoTW makes it clear that all of the events prior to its place in the timeline happened. IE; it was an inevitability that the events of each of the previous games would happen regardless of timeline placement, also regardless of logical sense but hey this is Nintendo either they think way too much into things, or they don’t think into it at all. Really isn’t much of an in between with them.
So following that conclusion, I had the idea that since this is taking place during the events of ALTP, and the Triforce still exists, if we kill both Link and Zelda, wouldn’t the Goddesses then wind up flooding Hyrule like they did in the timeline without a hero? This time there wouldn’t even be a direct descendent of Hylia either, so this would effect more than just this game, it would affect all of the games after it in the timeline.
If we can kill Link and Zelda, it would then stand to reason that we could kill Ganon too. Does that mean we’ll wind up fighting him as well? Or will he simply leave us to our own devices, because there is absolutely no way he won’t notice our obliteration of literally everything that moves. He doesn’t know we’re traveling worlds, presumably, but given Gygas and by extension Porky knew we were, does this mean Ganon might too?
Any thoughts on this would be nice, since I couldn’t help but question it. Oh and after ToTK we now know that the Master Sword can be broken, so who knows, we might even wind up destroying the sword and Fi along with it… poor sword, doesn’t even have the ability to tell me my Wii remote is out of battery.
Can’t wait to make another fallen hero timeline in this one 👍

Ooh cool remake!!! It's also funny how Noelle isn't in a battle stance she's just like "oh no"
Oh my god this fucking slaps so hard (I LOOOOOVE THE HYRULE CASTLE THEME AND PANDORA PALACE MIXED IN WITH THE ZELDA THEME AND THOSE DRUMS AUGHH). I started playing a link to the past sometime in early 2023 (but took a break due to exams and haven’t touched it since, I should finish it to get ready for this). I have some theories about both routes here: imagine being blessed with the triforce of wisdom in the pacifist route, but then in the obliteration route you murder everyone and you get some of Ganon’s power, kind of similar to Zant from Twilight Princess.
Well the full triforce is in the dark world in this game so it’s unlikely that we’ll get an individual piece. Cool Idea though.
If in pacifist and flowey stalking.....

Hey, even if an Obliteration Route happens here, Hyrule will survive. The cycle will continue even with Link’s death, and the Master Sword can’t be fully destroyed. Honestly, that makes me feel slightly better.

I wonder how we get the egg in The legend of Zelda: A Link to the past. In undertale ruins, you get the egg from a Migosp in the long hallway room, in earthbound, we get the egg by backtracking to the hint guy to the left of the area of Twoson Cave where you wake up while a Rough mole is following you. The egg of Underfell Snowdin is obtained after the underfell sans fight. After regaining control of Kris, head upstairs. Talk to the deltarune library NPC to get the egg.

Section 4 of Deltatraveler will take place in the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Which is also the section where this would play. It'd also have the same gameplay (before reaching Noelle, presumably) as A Link to the Past.
I love the Pandora Palace motifs, makes sense since that was a castle too

Edit:Yes, I know Dark Link didn't exist in the original release of a Link to The Past, he did make an appearance in the GBA Re-Release as the boss of a Bonus Dungeon that can only be accessed by playing Four Swords, which came with it, and I say equal stats because he matched your current Sword, Shield, Tunic, and Hearts when you fight him

Perfect mix of the high-energy goofy vibes of Pandora Palace and the more serious instrumentation of Hyrule Castle
