You are the FIRST person on any video I've ever seen to mention covering your product and keeping your brush away from the light while curing. I've learned this the hard way...no pun intended, as I have cured a few brushes myself. I'm sure other viewers will appreciate this tip! Thank you. Great video and straight to the point. ;o)
I haven't read the ingredients, but I can tell you that the consistency of the two is very different. Structure gel is much thicker, which is why it comes in a pot instead of a bottle.
hi Andrea, I just found your channel. I am very interesting about usign this product to fix a broken nail (my nails are weak and thin), I guess I can add a bit of silk wrap or fiberglass. My question is after I do the fixing can I apply my regular nail polish (no gel) without a problem?? and to remove the nail polish do I need to use NON acetone? and to grow the broken area do I need to do fillings?. Sorry for so many questions but I have never used gel products before. Thank you in advance.
Hi Andrea, Thanks for sharing your video's with us. I don't use acrylic powder in my Salon I was wondering if you have tried to do a silk repair with Structure Gel without acrylic powder? If not maybe I could use 3 coats instead of 2 for extra strength. If I saw correctly you used the Foundation as the top layer instead of the "Top it Off". Why do you prefer one over the other. I have just purchased all these products....Wow there are so great and so interchangeable. Love "Gelish".
I haven't done that, but I'm sure you could do a silk repair. I have used a tea bag and Structure Gel for repairs. I didn't use the Foundation as the top coat.
Help! I use this for clients with ridges under gelish polish but I have two clients that have ski slope nails & curling under nails also some nails that grow over the side walks so I can never get a straight edge & it always looks lumpy! Even if I buff it over it still looks lumpy! What can I do? These ladies don't like the filing process so I can't do a hard gel overlay on them. Also, when you use this under colour do you apply polish straight on top or wipe off & buff over? Thank you
I need to know steps from the beginning. U say you already applied Foundation cured it. Well what is that. New at this and I have no idea what u did firat. I have ordered this product, a brush and the pH bond. Now to try and find someone on TH-cam e that van show me how this is done. Thanks for the video.
Then how would you remove this gel polish (with the structure gel)? Do you still have to do the same foil, with acetone on a cotton ball? Thanks for you great videos :) you are very smart and to the point :)
You used the gelish founsation first before the structure gel, is that correct. I have gelish already but i dont have the structure gel but going to get it. I enjoyed your video thanks
Hi Andrea I have clients that have very thin flexible nails that seem to wiggle gel polish free easily. Am wondering if this product underneath the gel polish would help remedy this? Thankyou
Yes Gelish Structure gel can be used with tips.. temporary tips not 2 weeks worth. good for proms, weddings etc. This is a SOAK OFF GEL, don't advise fills. You can use Gel Polish before or after application. It is a ridge filling type gel
i am newby in all the gel stuff and i had trouble with the structure gel and i am not very sure what i did wrong. i saw that my nail was showing off at the free edge, just a little but am pretty sure it is not suppose to be like that. it look like when you have put too much layers of regular polish on and it just pulled back. do you know what am i doing wrong?
I skip gel topcoat before the lacquer polish, and use a quick dry topcoat, but if you use gel topcoat or otherwise “sandwich” the lacquer colour, make sure that polish is completely dry, or you’ll have service breakdown, like peeling.
I have a question. I use the structure gel. But when I remove the sticky layer it gets dull and loses all its shine. I cure it long enough. What is wrong?
Andrea B Thank you. Just wanted to make sure. I wasn't trying to use it as a top layer but I thought maybe it would be preventing the top layer from working properly after I applied it.
+Sandra Koehler Builder gel is harder/more durable and is meant for building enhancements. Structure gel is only meant to be used as an overlay on your natural nails to add some strength to prevent your nails from breaking. Also most builder gels are hard gels that don't soak off, and Structure gel is a soak-off gel.

which is the base coat you used ?
which is better structure gel or builder gel ?

Sorry Andrea my question was meant for another TH-cam channel. Lol. Thanks for answering any way.

Andrea, is it necessary to use Top Gel after you have cured the Structure UV Gel? Thanks! 💅

I have ordered this product, a brush and the pH bond. Now to try and find someone on TH-cam e that van show me how this is done. Thanks for the video.
Which do you feel is better for adding strength to natural nails, Gelish Structure Gel or Gelish Hard Gel?
Either will work, but hard gel doesn't soak off.
Andrea B ok thank you
Then how would you remove this gel polish (with the structure gel)? Do you still have to do the same foil, with acetone on a cotton ball?
Thanks for you great videos :) you are very smart and to the point :)
The process is exactly the same as demonstrated in this video.
Andrea B Oh OK. Thanks for your reply :))
Do you wipe this before color and do you wipe basecoat before applying the structure gel
You used the gelish founsation first before the structure gel, is that correct. I have gelish already but i dont have the structure gel but going to get it. I enjoyed your video thanks
Yes
The foundation gel and the structure gel have the same ingredients. So what's the difference ?
What is the deference between builder gel and structure gel?
Sandra Koehler builder gel is harder and typically does not soak off.
Hi Andrea I have clients that have very thin flexible nails that seem to wiggle gel polish free easily. Am wondering if this product underneath the gel polish would help remedy this? Thankyou
+Zara Ansell This product might actually crack if their nails are that flexible. Try using a primer under the gel polish instead.
This video does not give instruction on how to apply it. Where are the steps?
how can you use this with tips, can you do a video on that?
Yes Gelish Structure gel can be used with tips.. temporary tips not 2 weeks worth. good for proms, weddings etc. This is a SOAK OFF GEL, don't advise fills. You can use Gel Polish before or after application. It is a ridge filling type gel

Hi, did you cap the free edge?
+Nicole Heintz yes i did
What's the best way to use this product with regular nail polish?
Prep, foundation, builder gel, gel topcoat, regular polish, regular topcoat?
I skip gel topcoat before the lacquer polish, and use a quick dry topcoat, but if you use gel topcoat or otherwise “sandwich” the lacquer colour, make sure that polish is completely dry, or you’ll have service breakdown, like peeling.
which foundation should we use ?
May I know structure gel is bonder gel right ?
I really like your ring. Did u make it?
I have a question. I use the structure gel. But when I remove the sticky layer it gets dull and loses all its shine. I cure it long enough. What is wrong?
You should be using a top coat over top of the Structure Gel. It's not meant to be the top layer.
Andrea B Thank you. Just wanted to make sure. I wasn't trying to use it as a top layer but I thought maybe it would be preventing the top layer from working properly after I applied it.
Andrea is this the same as builder gel? Thank you.
LaMonica Toussaint No it's not builder gel.
Ok. Thanks.
Are you using led or uv....?
Thank you. I bought it on Etsy :)
Hello can you actually extend the nails with this gel? With forms
Lalyyee yess u can!
do u put the gel color on after this?
Yes either Gel color or nail polish
This is super helpful thank you
How many layers can you use
Where did you buy the gel?
Amazone
I'm confused. What is the difference between sculpting gel and structure gel ?
sculpting gels don't soak off, Structure Gel is a soak off gel
Can it hold a tip
Love the ring
Too low volume. My laptop has very low seakers so I could not hear anything.
Maybe you could get the Gelish Vitagel there is one for Strength and one for Recovery they could help your nails. Check out ebay :)
Do I need to use foundation under gel?
Yes
Lo pueden traducir al español por favor gracias

+Sandra Koehler Im also waiting for an answer.

U said that you can't use this structure gel with fake tips but that is false because I do it all the time and it lasts.
