very nice work! as a fellow scotty customizer I'm very impressed with this one and your work overall! You've given me a few ideas 💡 and they have turned out very nice 👌.
Never seen this putter before! Got to see it inside and out. I like looking under the hood and seeing how Scotty Cameron putters soften the impact behind the front plate.
Keep pulling? Or slowly twist it off. There shouldn't be anything holding it back if it's spinning. I've never done THIS putter in center shaft. But I'm assuming it's an over post style shaft.
I love watching this video. Just picked one up and like yours, I guess, the shaft has a slight dent in it. Anyway, I am planning to copper plate the insert after I sand it like you did. So many dings. Thanks again! I think I’ve asked before, and forgot. What color cerakote did you use? Thank you again!
I’ve got one if you really want one…but it’s the lawsuit model with the 3 red dots that Seemore sued Scotty for infringement. It has the Baby T grip still on it.
If you're going to tackle this yourself, keep in mind. To get the plate off, it normally takes a lot of heat, and a little bit of prying. Just don't pry too much or you will damage the screw holes of the plate.
IKR! I have learned so much from him and stole his set up on shiz!! I’m glad he is getting some business, he deserves it. I see copper plating in his future😅
Curious as to what bottle/needle you use on paint fills? I’ve been using a fine line brush and still find it being sloppy. Also, phenomenal job on this, makes me want to get rid of my super select and play an older one like this.
Times vary depending on the humidity/temp ect. But I like to wait at bare minimum a half an hour. And even at that time you have to be very careful not to actually touch the filled areas because it is not fully cured yet. To be 100% safe of smearing and ruining the fill a full 24 hrs is probably recommended.
Absolutely! It feels so nice off the face I actually couldn't believe it. As much as I love putting with a blade, and the looks, i need to start using the putters I actually putt well with 🤣. My double wide odyssey is nice but just never was a fan of synthetic Inserts. And it's just a little blue locktite.

amazing work as always! that paint filling was extremely satisfying!
Rapidly becoming one of my favourite channels. Superb craftsmanship 👍
Thank you!
Excellent work Corey!
I'm not a huge fan of that model. But you did it justice. Excellent work and the putter looks great!
I wasn't a big fan of it either until I used it. Is an amazing feeling putter. Both the face and the stroke
I’m trying to remove the X2 center shafted head. The shaft is just twisting but won’t pull off. Any suggestions?

Graphite black
@ thank you!
Damn that’s really nice. I used to have one years ago and wish I never got rid of it. Absolutely love the black
Thanks! Yes honestly was not a fan of the factory look. Really liking it, and feels great!

Must have been extra care going into this build knowing it was gonna be your gamer! Looks clean!
Thanks! I try to do every restore like its my own! 😃
How did you get the bottom part off?
Heat, and patience.
I’m looking to work on my this off season. What did you use to adhere the faceplate?
Just a few small pieces of thin 3M double-sided tape. And the screws have blue loctite.

@@igolf906 is it epoxied on?
How does this dude not have more subscribers???
🤷♂️

Great work. What did you use to fill the gap on the face insert?
Just a standard white tub and tile caulk. Don't let Scotty fool you, that's what he used too 😆
@igolf906 thanks. I've done a couple of putters. Your videos helped a lot, thanks. Any tips on removing the inserts on ping or odyssey putters?
That's gorgeous ❤
Thank you! I think I'm kind of in love! Don't tell my wife 🤣. Excited to get it out on the course again!
I never realized how much the Baby T putter grips sell for.
Putter looks nice.
It's pretty crazy! But I can't complain. It nearly paid for my shaft and headcover!
Great work
Thank you!
Lovely job. 👌🏼

Thank you! I use custom size tipped bottles from Gaunt Industries.
Can you do this exact same thing to mine? Same colors same everything
Will you do this to my Scotty red x? Please
Shoot me an email
When you are filling in the paint, how long do you wait before wiping with acetone?

Nice video. I’ve been thinking of getting one of these as they quite good prices. What do you put on the screws when you reinsert them?

@@igolf906 I’m just the same. I love a Wilson 8802 napa style blade, but not sure they’re right for me.
