Monotony describes a lot of farm work. I was a dairy farm kid in my teenage summers were a couple hours of milking cows each morning and evening and then 10 to 12 hours running a diesel tractor to mower bail hay which was incredibly boring work. We did eggs and broiler hens as a side business and had two manual scales. I think one may have been this design from very vague memories while the other was very different. We didn't much use them by the time I was a kid because a couple nearby poultry operations had expanded and upgraded their equipment, selling their old electric graders for cheap enough we could afford it and the repairs it needed. Congratulation for 200k🥳
never thought that a 14 minute video with no voice-over about an antique egg scale would be this entertainint.
Glad you liked it 😊
Your restorations are on another level...
You are so kind to say that Dejan Gavrilovic. Thanks 🙏🏻
He takes "RESTORATION 100" meme on another level.
😎😎😎
Wish I had kept taking more shop classes back in high school. Back when they still had shop classes.
I think after 20-40 years, these skills will be well paid and a lot of people will want to learn how. We live in a fake world now, full of social media and bullshit

I’m like, how much free time i had to watch this all fantastic art of restoration. Worth watching.
Thank you very much 🤗
It's good to know that, even in the 1940s, useless kitchen gadgets were a thing.
I just use a bathroom scale. I weight myself before, and then weight myself holding the egg I'm going to eat. Then I use my calculator built into my cell phone (in the scientific mode). I do that so that I know if I'm eating a small egg, a medium egg, a large egg, or an extra filling, xtra large egg. This way I can very closely monitor my caloric intake.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
after doing this, you realize that you are American
@@jomsies I use the same method to hand out Jelly beans to my niece's and nephews. The larger nephews always get the heavier beans, compared to the youngest of my niece's, who get the smallest of the beans. I don't pick the color for them tho...
Digital bathroom scales are a real blessing.

But it is a joke. lol
@@jakefriesenjake It is the same as american,
The fact you machined out that sheet metal Is awesome
Thank you very much David 😎👍🏻
First of all, I didn't know egg scales existed, that was cool to find out. Secondly, the love and care you show towards your work is simply beautiful to watch!
Thank you very much Cristinact
Same here. I thought it was diameter or something. I suppose weight works just as well though.
@J Hemphill hmm yes this egg is made out of an egg
I'm sorry, but what kind of "love" is he showing towards his restorations?

what always gets me is the outlandish ways of testing the restored product
This is one of the most interesting, relaxing and enjoyable things I've ever seen on TH-cam, I'm so glad this randomly popped into my feed. Subscribed, keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks a lot 🤗👍🏻😎
So cool! I had 100+ hens when I was a boy (mid 1970s) and had a scale just like this for my egg business!
Very nice 🤩

also i would just like to say that i love how honest you were ," no chickens were harmed".
😇
That was Awesome, I love these Old Treasures... Thank you for keep them around for another 100 Years 👍👏👏👏✌️
Glad you liked it 👏 many thanks 😊
My fav line: No egg or Chicken is harmed during the video. This dude is so kind and talented ❤️❤️
🙈 thank you very much 🥰
But he said "i hope so " hehe. Dont be sure
So this is how Gaston measures his eggs to grow "extra large"
The sheet metal forming at the end was super cool. I am in ceramics right now and the way we makes things out of clay is very similar.
ive watched many different restorators that have focused on different things, it is so interesting to see the differences in approach! incredible work and video
Glad you liked it Araksi 😊
