    Excellent point about using glue and the impact it has on the lace. I never thought of that!

    ThankYou ! This was great info - I’m a wig newbie & I’ve been losing my hair due to extreme stress. I took a chance & ordered 2 Raquel Welch wigs - hopefully I fall in love 🥰

    I use a holding spray to keep the hair in front in place. I find I need to wash it more frequently, which isn't good. I don't look right with bangs, or with my hair parted in the middle, so it is hard to find wigs that are not short that have some sort of fluffiness and height in front. I have to get wigs with bangs and try to style them in a way they were not meant to lay, which, as I mentioned, requires spray to keep in place. I like wigs that are fuller and have body. It is so hard to find anything I think would suit me that I get overwhelmed trying to look through all the wig sites. Anyway, I am going to try the silicone spray and deep conditioner for the wig I have. It died quite some time ago.

      Since doing this video I also discovered Tressallure Spray Wig Wax and it's awesome - it's flexible so you can kind of re-style or scrunch your hair the next day vs. needing to add more spray

    Can these products be used on Heat friendly wigs too? Also, how often do you use the detangle spray from John Renau after each wear?

    Thank you very much for this truly great recap about the products which take care and extend the life our synthetic hair fiber wigs!
    Now, I have to create a shopping list to include the silicon spray and deep conditioner. One question please, if I had the choice between purchasing the JR HD spray, Simply Styling Spray, and Bambu deep conditioner, which would you say are the 2 most important ones? Which wig grip is the best with Raquel Welch, Jon Renau and Belle Tress wigs? Thanks again! Lauren
    LOL, SORRY THAT WAS 2 😘

    • @TheWiggyWoman
      @TheWiggyWoman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The wig grip question is easy- the one I linked in the description is the best, it is Milano! The silicone/detangler.... that is like asking me to pick a favorite kid!! I only just recently started using the silicone spray (and love it) so for many years I did without it ok. So if you had to drop one of them I’d say detangler is not negotiable, and the Bambu deep conditioner will bring wigs back from the grave!

    I am very new at wearing wigs. Leaning more towards synthetic hair.
    But I only like longer layers.
    What is the best way to care for them? What’s the safest way to pack them away while not wearing it?

    • @TheWiggyWoman
      @TheWiggyWoman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are great questions, and I think warrant a video to properly explain them! I do have another video on how to wash a synthetic wig, but the other care is good to cover as well!

    When do you use the conditioning spray versus the Simply Stylin versus the revitalize and shine product? Not sure…

    • @TheWiggyWoman
      @TheWiggyWoman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use Simply Stylin on the ends relatively often to prevent tangling, ,and I use the conditioning spray when I wash it as a conditioner.

    Can you still use all these products on hair that is hand tied , Real Hair , or hair with a-lot of permitease ? I hear so much and don’t know what to do. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Have a blessed day. 💞

    • @TheWiggyWoman
      @TheWiggyWoman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use most of these products on hand tied wigs. There are some of these products that are specific for synthetic wigs, but, I use the Bambu Silicone Mix conditioner on my human hair wigs all the time as it was developed for bio hair! I think this is a great idea for a video though - best products for my human hair wigs!

  • @mt.shasta6097
    @mt.shasta6097 ปีที่แล้ว

    We need to be reminded that hand-tied wigs, like Jon Renau's Cameron, can't be soaked in shampoo or conditioner. The hand tied knots will loosen under the influence of either or both compounds. It's best to wash these wigs with enormous care. And never use fabric softener!

    I’m confused as to when and how often to use products 1, 5, 6 and 7 on your “Wig Care Essentials List”. Are any of these duplicates in their purpose?

    Quick question, been looking can't find answers, even on my bottle. Does Jon renau fiber love #2 leave in conditioner go on wet or dry fibers? Tia

    • @TheWiggyWoman
      @TheWiggyWoman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure of the official answer, but I personally use it on both. Once right after shampooing and again every couple wears to refresh it
