@rretro2042 Uvulitis is the inflammation of the uvula, the small fleshy extension at the back of the throat. It can be caused by infections, allergies, or irritants. Symptoms often include a sore throat, difficulty swallowing, and swelling. Gargling with warm salt water, as you found, is a great home remedy to help reduce pain and inflammation. Staying hydrated and avoiding irritants can also aid in recovery. If symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.

      Keep urself warm~
      Dont eat oily foods
Eat foods whch are liquid based like ganji(of rice, ragi, jowar, mixed veggies.. ofc wth lots of blackpepper, garlic, ginger, mint, clove etc... these are immunity booster spices easily available)

It's not uncommon to confuse allergies, a cold, or conditions like uvulitis since they can share similar symptoms. Uvulitis, or inflammation of the uvula, can occur after surgery, especially if a breathing tube was used, as it may irritate or injure the uvula. Symptoms include a swollen, painful uvula, difficulty swallowing, and sometimes a gagging sensation. Drinking room temperature water can help soothe the irritation, and the inflammation usually resolves on its own within a few days. If symptoms persist or worsen, it's advisable to consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation and possible treatment options, such as anti-inflammatory medications.

The duration of uvulitis, inflammation of the uvula (the tissue that hangs down at the back of the throat), can vary from person to person. In many cases, it is a temporary condition that can last for a few days to a week. The duration may be influenced by the underlying cause of the inflammation, such as infection, irritation, or an allergic reaction. If the symptoms persist for an extended period or become severe, it's advisable to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
