    Great content. Keep it up!
    Thanks for the annotation on the videos. I often watch these when I have a couple of minutes free at work and can’t have sound on. So that is very helpful to have lockers on/off sway bar connected/disconnected etc on the screen.
    Thanks again!

    Great comparison between the Bronco and Tacoma. Both have great platforms to work off of when off-roading and overlanding.

    I've owned my share of Toyotas and they are very capable vehicles but I'm very excited to get my hands on the Bronco Badlands that I ordered.

      You won’t be disappointed, at least for the first couple years given it’s unknown reliability, time will tell.

  • @MrNismopro

    I like both of these vehicles, but I feel that the Tacoma needs to give the Camry back it's engine and get a new powertrain because I owned a 19 TRD Off Road and it was gutless on the highway. Even the Broncos 4 cylinder has more power.

    • @4WDisLife
      @4WDisLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely agree. Had a 2021 Tacoma as a loaner and it sucked in terms of power output, not able to predict when the truck will accelerate, I guess a 6mt would be better.

    • @junfenggao

      I felt the same pain claiming up highway in Rocky Mountains. 6v taco is so unbelievably powerless.

    • @MrNismopro
      @MrNismopro 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would tow 4000 lbs, and I live in flat Florida, and while towing that truck would cycle between 3rd, 4th, and sometimes coming down an overpass it would feel lucky and hit 5th. It was best to use manual mode and hold 4th. But off the beaten path it was almost unstoppable. I think the new Bronco and Ranger for this matter will change a lot.😉

    • @fabulousoffroaddesigns5080

      Bronco is based on the Ranger and the Ranger beats the Tacoma for reliability again for 2021. JD Power results puts the Ranger in First place for reliability and the Tacoma in 3rd place behind the Ridgeline. Actually Tacoma never won a small truck reliability award until after the First Gen Ranger stopped production in 2011.

      The 2.7 EB is one of the most reliable turbo engines out there, it’s in millions of vehicles and can handle more than double the HP and torque.
      The 10 speed is in literally millions of cars, trucks and SUVs from both GM and Ford and is ultra reliable!

    Hey, I need an opinion/suggestion regarding the pickup truck and 4X4. I have never owned a pickup truck before. I am from Alberta and got involved in an accident a few weeks ago. I was in my sedan. Now I am debating between Rav 4 AWD and Tacoma 4x4. The majority of my driving involves the highway. I have a few questions for you. Are AWD and 4x4 the same thing? If not which one is better to drive in the winter slippery conditions. Which one has more traction/ stability? Please and thanks.

    • @4WDisLife
      @4WDisLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In your case I would actually recommend rav4. I believe the tacomas 4x4 is normally a rear wheel drive and actually sucks in snow without engaging 4x4. But then the 4x4 on Tacoma may still require to not be used on hard good traction surface so sometimes I feel trapped because it’s would be spots with snow/ice and spots dry. So I do believe in your case the awd is a better choice.
