Hi Sammy. Glad you're starting to feel better. I always enjoy looking at those amazing cards you show from our community. Your new pickup is awesome and will look fabulous once it gets in a slab. Your Mays collection is growing with some unbelievable items, just wonderful. Thanks for sharing my friend, talk soon pal.
Thank you, Stephen. There are so many great cards that are shared amongst different members of the community. Next weeks should continue on that momentum that is currently running.
Hey Sammy, just discovered your channel. Very informative! I recently picked up some very beat up Mize Bowmans (49 and 52, I think), the first I've owned. Jealous of Brian's! All the best. Brad
@@SammyThunder Nope, I just picked up a couple handfuls of raw HOF cards at decent prices from a fellow collector looking to unload them. Hadn't owned any Mize, so enjoyed looking into his career in conjunction with getting the cards. One of the few who had great seasons both before and after WWII service.
Hi Sammy, It’s really good that you are getting your health back. It’s also great to see the Monday review. Have a Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year 🥳! Best Wishes, Peter
Lefty Grove must be the key card of the Diamond Stars because he's #1 in the set. There's certainly bigger names in the set, such as Rogers Hornsby, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott and Hank Greenberg. My Hornsby card in a modern SGC slab says 1935 and my Kiki Cuyler in a PSA slab says 1935. I guess many cards just say 1934-36.
Oh, without a doubt. As I mentioned in the video, I’m not as familiar with the sets in the 30s. I was going off of what a website mentioned regarding the Lefty Grove being number one. I think that’s definitely what they’re implying.
@@SammyThunder Thank you for the offer at the Philly show. I hope to attend one of these next year. Most of my oddball purchases are spur of the moment just because I happen to like the looks of something. I do have my continuing want list of 1955 and/or 1959 Armour coins in a PSA 10. I am set in 1960 though as I have completed the perfect 10 set in that year (tied for #1 on the registry).
Hi Sammy, always appreciate seeing everyone's cards. Thanks for showing.
Thank you, Jim for watching

Very cool selection of cards this week. It’s fun to see the different varieties of cards.
Absolutely. There has been a great response for next week as well.

Great cards! I love the color on the Diamond Stars.
Thanks Joe. They certainly stand out!
Nice selection of cards, thanks for sharing
Thank you, Orlando
Some amazing cards!
Thank you, Rick
Some great choices here. I’d like to pick up a Diamond Stars next year. Great card of the meal ticket! Thanks for sharing the rest of these cards too.
Thanks CK. Which one would you want to pick up?
@ I’d like to get the Lloyd Waner. I love the background on that one. Since the Goudeys are getting kinda expensive.
Some really cool stuff submitted this week Sammy! Nice 7up pickup for you too!!
I'll have to buy a 7-up and take a photo with the card.
That’d be awesome haha
These were great. I always like the non-traditional cards or dare I say oddball cards. Congratulations on your Mays postcard-a really unique item
We are definitely both in that same camp man. I am going to be at the Philly show this weekend. Anything you want me to look out for?

I feel that. I’m all about spur the moment pick ups as well.
Glad to see you sound much better Sammy!
Thank you, Tony. I appreciate that friend.
