Devin Booker doesn't fit the mold of what a superstar "should be" in the modern NBA, yet he picks apart defenses in ways not many can replicate. He 100% is one of the best shot makers in the NBA today. Up there with Luka, Kyrie, Steph, kawhi. His game is one of the best I've ever seen, shame he doesn't get that recognition.
Hopefully the OP sees this, and adds more contextualization to this.. but I believe he says D Book doesn't "fit the mold", of today's NBA superstar. Is for two reasons. He doesn't peacock on, or off the court. And by "peacocking" I mean.. on the court. He's not isolating for 20, of the 24 second shot clock. Just to chuck up a bad 3, to make somebody's Tik Tok Top 10 plays of the night. The brother will drop 50 on you, with 3-5 dribbles a possession, and only attempting, 3-5 threes. Then he doesn't peacock off the court. Showing up to the game dressed like a super model. The brother will have on sweats, a baggy white tee, and a black beanie (didn't know Grand Rapids was so gully with the steelo lol). Today's superstar's wants the fame, clout, and money over all. While D Book just wants the buckets, money, and rings lol. So I agree with the OP. Devin is the antonymous, of the modern NBA superstar.
@@crumbb_mnothing wrong with his personality he’s the only player who receives hate for being confident in his abilities while ppl like ant get praised for it
@@MaxaMillion711 I did. That's what I'm saying. He isn't "literally" on fire, he's "figuratively" on fire. Literally on fire would mean he is actually consumed in flames. Figuratively on fire means that in this context his basketball skills and specifically his scoring ability would lend itself metaphorically to the idea that he's "on fire" so to speak, in relation of course to the storied hot hand theory and the way the term lives inside the basketball world. Still, saying that he's "literally on fire" is a misuse of the word "literally". I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd respond. I'm just being a jerk. I love your videos.
D Book is the first teammate I've seen on a team, that featured Kevin Durant. And made it arguable, that he was the best player, on the team. I believe the last 2 post seasons. It's become less of an opinion, and more factual based. Best shooting guard in the game. Bar none.
@@kunxv15skill wise yes. Above Barkley and anyone else. But accolades no. He does not have better accolades than Barkley, nash, Kevin Johnson, walter Davis

Too much redundancy with Booker and Beal without the defensive impact to make it work
You’re wrong but that’s okay there’s no “redundancy” Beal cannot do what book can
@@jalynjones9136 but Booker can do what Beal can?
@@karimw.9954uh, YES??? What kind of stupid ass question was that??? Beal has absolutely nothing on Booker. Nothing kid.
@@dazdavis7896 you're too slow to comprehend. If Booker can do everything that Beal can do and more, that is the definition of redundancy.
