- Oh yesss! First real-life 100-200 km/h Autobahn acceleration test with the recently facelifted 2020 / 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63s "MOPF" delivering 612hp & 850Nm of torque (total weight: 2015 kg). Numbers are no big surprises but if you consider the fact that this car ist faster or just as fast as its Pre-WLTP "non-OPF" predecessor I think that is very reasonable. Shows again that new regulations might make the cars quieter...but not slower;) But please watch yourself and tell me your thoughts? @@PhilipKh yeah screw the cheap made plastic interiors of those cars. They do sound good but are nothing compared to some European v12s and v10s, even some v8s . On top of all that , they can never be as luxurious as European cars. The only american muscle car with a "luxury" interior i can think of is the c8 corvette thats it. I am not European or American, I am Asian and I accept that Asian cars arent the best, so don't let nationality be the factor that makes you choose your car. I think the best muscle car however is the Lexus LC500, sounds brutal and is hella luxurious.
It’s not just the OPF. Trust me. It’s the size of the engines decreasing, turbos, low rpms, etc. Porsche made the new cayman GT4 sound good with OPF! And it’s a flat six naturally aspirated

I drive the C400 Roadster and it is already fast, but this 63S is fantastic. It's not just the speed, it's the entire styling, the workmanship, everything is just right. "Das Beste oder nichts"

Der Sound kommt vom OPF und der hat nichts mit Greta und dem Klimawandel zu tun, du Experte. Der OPF reduziert Partikelemissionen, was rein gar nichts mit CO2 zu tun hat.

Der Witz ist ja, dass der OPF zwar die partikelemissionen reduziert aber dafür den Benzinverbauch steigen lässt

Prefer the look of pre facelift. This one looks a bit more aggresive and sharp but lacks the 'classy' look

Der vormopf mit Opf war meiner Meinung nach noch leiser als der mopf, der vormopf ohne Opf hört sich tatsächlich viel brutaler an im Vergleich

FreshMangoPictures hört sich alles scheisse an wenn man ehrlich ist... Gibt kein deutsches Auto mehr, dass soundtechnisch ganz oben mitspielt (ausser vlt der Porsche GT3 wobei sich da sogar der upcoming 992 recht "muted" anhört im Vergleich zum Vorgänger).
Liegt wahrscheinlich am druck der Politikerin und der Gesellschaft innerhalb Deutschlands auf die Automobilindustrie mit der forderung nach mehr unweltbewusstsein und weniger Emotion.
Egal, auf jedenfall ist es traurig, dass man praktisch nur noch zwischen Amerikanern , briten oder italienern entscheiden kann, wenn man nach einem Auto mit guten Sound sucht...

Not really... M5 completely stock from 2017 has been faster and technologically advanced.. imagine the new M5 in a year or two. The M5 competition is even faster. Mercedes has been impressive though I love both brands I’m just saying lol it’s not like Mercedes broke a new barrier compared to its competition.

More like the A class became a smaller C class which shared parts with the S class and then shared the parts of all 3 with the E class.

Ich fahre seit einem Jahr das Vor-Facelift Modell mit OPF und muss sagen, dass der Sound vom Facelift auf den Aufnahmen hier deutlich leiser klingt.
Kann nicht sagen wie das im Vergleich zum Vor-Mopf mit OPF ist aber mein Gefühl ist, dass er weniger Klang und Stimme hat aber dafür komischerweise mehr und anderes Knallen🤔...klingt fast besser als ein aktueller GT63s😅

I have noticed something in your new videos. In your older videos, 100-200 km/h time was exactly the same as your 0-200 minus 0-100 times. However, in your recent videos, this doesn't apply anymore. For example in this video, 0-100 = 3.3, 0-200 = 11.2 and if we subtract 3.3 from 11.2 the result is 7.9 (11.2 - 3.3 = 7.9) but you clocked 7.7 s 100-200 in the second run which is a different time.
That is ,in my opinion ,because the 100-200 km/h was measured rolling from 80/90 km/h.

Da kommen 800ps dann locker zustande.

The 100-200 time was started from 50km/h, or did I miss something?
The measuring box on the driver side window can measure how much time it took to reach 200 kmh after reaching 100 kmh
Yes, you are more or less right. They didn't start from 100 but they started to accelerate from ca. 70-80. So I guess it's not a correct measuring. Still good video and brilliant car, but the 100-200 is just NOT CORRECT MEASURING.
Power delivery and performance is impressive.
Anyway emotion is gone due to OPF... really sad and loosing key buying argument.

Ganz einfach...Größere Turbos beim E63 oder RS6 ziehen noch mehr Sound und die Regulieren machen es on top noch schwerer.

Can't wait to see the 100-200 time of 765LT, if you're going to get a hold of one. McLaren says the car can accelerate from 0-200km/h (0-124mph) in 7 seconds, which is just amazing! I think that's about the same time the Porsche 918 Spider takes to reach 124mph.
P1 does it in 6.5 according to McLaren

Strange Gear changing. Between Gears it cuts off the power totally for a tens of a second. This happened to all new cars with automatic gearshift.

I think the beauty of this car lies in the fact that it can be mistaken for a normal sedan. You have to drive to know what it is so they’re sticking with that concept.
