Another amazing video mate, everything you are producing week after week is awesome. Congrats on the 70k mate, do damn well deserved. Keep kicking goals!
hey nev did you move away from the island or you just taking trips for these videos? I'm gonna be hitting corinella and tenby this weekend for a fish. Love your content man
Cool looking Pokemon lure, watch another channel and the guy used a lego man lure and managed to land a pike. I guessd you just never know what will work. Nice to see you freshwater fishing and doing a great job landing some gorgeous natives. Awesome job Nev!!!
Hey mate, great fishing but we call lures with bibs like that diving lures, a stump jumper is a brand of diving lures, that first one you put on looked a bit like an oar gee or an old mate but not a stump jumper, correct me if I'm wrong
Lol stump jumper....mine jumped straight into a stump at lake Sommerset 2 casts after pulling out fresh from the box... apparently your supposed to have knowledge of the problematic stump before or within seconds of hitting it then dropping back to let the lure rise before diving it back down again...I'm pretty sure most floating diving hardbody lures can be used in the same situation...best thing I ever did was buy a lure retrieval... attach it to your line pull the line straight and let the device slide down to the lure knocking it loose...the first one I forgot to attach the line through the split ring so it kept going pass the lure lol but at least I got the lure back lol and got another lure retriever few days later lol
I was cod fishing 2 days ago and we caught a 78cm and had no pliers or gloves so I had to unhook it and the hook went through my thumb while the big cod was still on and I had to hold it down
@@NevsFishingStump Jumpers have their eyes on the sides of the ‘head’. Oar Gee lures have their eyes close together, on the front of the lure’s ‘head’. 🤓
Awesome video! would love to catch a cod but live in Sydney. All the places ive seen are 6 or more hours away? anyone know any rough areas closer i could try for a murray cod? not expecting an exact spot but appreciate any help to land a bucket list fish
I’m a shore based angler so I don’t know much. But is it a bit dangerous to go super offshore on a kayak? Especially since the weather can turn on you without much notice… wouldn’t want to be stuck in a kayak with huge waves smashing you around in a storm 😅
That’s the craziest thing I’ve heard all week. Too big for Murray Cod! Possibly a little on the SMALL size for Murray Cod. They eat ducks, possums and bats if they fall in the water. “Murray cod are capable of growing well over 1 m (3.3 ft) in length and the largest on record was over 1.8 m (5.9 ft) and about 113 kg (249 lb) in weight.”
“Just cast you never know” sums up Murray Cod fishing perfectly
i love you my friend, youve helped me get rid of my depression and have helped me settle into australia after moving from nigeria\
than you sir!
Were abouts do you live? It would be cool to go fishing with you :)
@@ob20again37 I live in Balmain sir!

Hey Nev just letting you know that the stumpy is an old mates lure.
Cool looking Pokemon lure, watch another channel and the guy used a lego man lure and managed to land a pike. I guessd you just never know what will work. Nice to see you freshwater fishing and doing a great job landing some gorgeous natives. Awesome job Nev!!!
Cheers heaps Larry! I've seen that too, would be epic to try similiar stuff on our fish
Hey mate, great fishing but we call lures with bibs like that diving lures, a stump jumper is a brand of diving lures, that first one you put on looked a bit like an oar gee or an old mate but not a stump jumper, correct me if I'm wrong
It's a anaconda brand one, not the greatest lures ever made
@@jacobsfishing5702they were given to him so it’s the thought that counts mate.
Pokemon😮 thats pretty cool i like pokemon and fishing to. i will never stop watching you bro
Appreciate it mate
Great fishing Nev
Cheers!

Sick as Pokémon lure! And sick as video!
Thanks heaps!
Hey Nev, great vid. how have you attached the wheels to the back of the kayak?
Just look it up on youtube.
Lucky jumper not synergising well with the Pikachu lure...definitely need to keep trying, Hawksey had some viral video with the Kyogre lure
Haha will keep trying
Love your vids Nev. Pretty sure that lure after pikachu, is an ol mate lure. Definitely not a stump jumper
I see, thansk!
@@NevsFishing could be an OarGee plow top
I was cod fishing 2 days ago and we caught a 78cm and had no pliers or gloves so I had to unhook it and the hook went through my thumb while the big cod was still on and I had to hold it down
Ohh no that sounds horrible! Hopefully your thumb is all good now mate
Use pliers next time.
Thanks nev
Please post more deep sea lure fishing
Not a Stumpy mate.... maybe an Oar Gee Plow...
Thanks for letting me know

Cheap prymals from bcf I loaded up on them reduced great lure
Or an old mate?
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors pryml bushbandits, you can get em right now, got loads of them for cheap on clearance at bcf
Can you try beach fishing for mullaway/jewfish or gummy’s would be awesome
What have been your thoughts on the black adder? Thinking about getting myself one in the 6’6 extra heavy model
ripper vid mate

i wanna see some westernport gummy fishing
what river are you fishing
Not sure the fish are into Pokémon Nev, but some beautiful cod anyway!
Haha cheers!
nev you need to get out redfin fishing
Pokemon lures, I've seen it all now 😆
Nev do you have any tips on catching Murray cod?
go for structure, use noisy lures, bring your cast all the back to you
You just watched 12 mins of tips, how much more do you want?
Good vid Nev, however, it was not a Stump Jumper! Cheers mate!
Cheers
What river are you fishing in?
Whereabouts you fishing in the river nev?
Nev always fishes in the wet part.
@@teeanahera8949 thanks man really appreciate that
rather than Pikachu should of gone with Tentacruel, he looks more like a spinnerbait and is at home in water :) Good session Nev
cheers mate
Go for some kingys soon please
Awesome vid
thanks
How cool is that Pokémon lure!
You should go chase big snapper in the next video
we need more offshore fishing
No more bass fishing, Nev try pompadours on the bass they are a topwater lure and the bass love them
Wdym, like every 2nd video is offshore
@@UltraDanjor I mean super off shore
@@APfishing.offical I just don’t think that’s realistic for a kayak

Looks like the original Jitter-bug.
do your recken you could do a gummy mission
for sure
Let’s gooooo!!!!

Yo what’s good bro
A Pokémon fan hey? I never picked that.
Haha wayyyyy back i sure was
You said you will go snapper fishing at night 😢
I will :)
Thank you so much 🤩
PIKACHU
Sorry bro but that doesn't look like a stump jumper lure. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's coz it's not its a oargee
@danielpalmer-gardner3639 Na it's an anaconda brand diver not the greatest quality compared to an actual oar-gee lure
Nev used Pikalure.....It's not very effective.
hahahah true
that’s not a stump jumper, there from primal lures I’ve got heaps 🎉
I love you my friend
Not a stumpy haha
Bro buy some american bass lures. Those baits are waay too big. You’d catch way more fish if you had a hardbait like a minnow or a little jig
He was chasing Murray Cod in this video mate?

It's NOT a stump jumper,it's a oor gee lure, you don't have any stump jumpers in that box.
Chillax bro
What's a oor gee lure 🤣🤣🤣 first I've heard of that. I've heard of oar gee though 😂😂
