The Australian 'Bass' is a member of the Perch family, that's probably why they tend to school a little. That's lovely scenery, the river, the bsh, the sounds. The blue birds were probably Kingfishers. It's a real treat to watch you catch fish like you do 😁 PS Thank you for NOT playing music in the background!

Maate bloody spectacular vids been binge watching ya channels and ive learnt alot and youve got me excited again for getting back fishing and getting outta my comfort zone and trying different techniques. Looking to get into kayak fishing too(how i found ya channel) ive been out on rec kayaks and fished from them and love it. Would you recommend getting the compass? Thoughts? Any cons youve found? Was this your first fishing kayak or what would you recommend to start with? Maybe a review vid you could do on it too as an idea?? Cheers ya legend Lew
Man, what a great session Nev, with the cherry on top 49. Super footage and fantastic detail with the suns help. Every fish you caught was with twitch retrieve. 😜 Just sayin🙂

Do ya self a favour and go get a kids rod for fishing small estuaries or tight rivers get way better casts and really pin point cast into snags specially skip casting

Really healthy fish too. A lot of other systems have pretty skinny and pale fish but this spot has some proper green fatties which is a good sign

Nev is a couple of thousand kilometres from the nearest croc. The crocs have maps and GPS to track you down.
