aaron anderson full rep your traps take control. Half rep...rear delts. It’s a very small muscle

@aaron anderson emphasis is only on the rear delts without the assistance of the traps and other muscles.

This man is a genius! I've been working out for over 20 years and I always felt my rear delt work in my mid traps and rhomboids. Yesterday I did as was advised using the shorter range of motion and I felt a great pump like never before. Today my rear delts are sore as hell! Thank you for your excellent instructions!!

@@flyskykings1113 and you're another "expert" on the wonders of steroid use! Just take steroids and poof, magically you're huge and have a champion bodybuilder physique. Hell, you dont even have to lift a weight as long as you take steorids. Please explain to me how then, that out of the literally thousands that do take steroids, only a handful actually make it to the pro levels, let alone WIN pro contests? Gee, ya think genetics, diet and hard work might just play a small role too? If we go by your expert knowledge of steroids, then, we can take ANYONE and turn them into the next Mr Olympia...! LMAO

excellent Vid. The reason why you should rotate your lower arm externally is that when you do so, the medial delt is busy with assisting with rotating and holding the arm in the external position which leaves the rear delt to do a more primary role in retracting the upper arm to the rear. This is the best info on working the rear delt that I have come across. thanks

Thank you so much for sharing the well detailed explanation of how to fire only the rear delts. I was amazed how much difference it made in my own workouts, the dumbbell position in the hands. I just did not know to keep the range of motion shorter to correctly target the rear delts. Thanks again. Keep up the great work.

Just came across your channel and subbed. I'm almost 65 and training 3 days a week, recovery time is longer now that I'm getting older. Good video man, I've been doing the rear delts doing the W configuration. Works nice, but don't really feel the rear delts like I want. Surely going to try this, as soon as my triceps are no longer sore. Glad I found your channel sir.

I see high level competitive guys swinging the dumbells at my gym, mostly bringing the traps/lats into play. I learned early on to take a step back and get in tune with my body. So rear delts, i would find the best range and movement, with no weights, that would see them get the best recruitment and contraction and isolation. You need to, for a lot of body parts, just use yourself in front of a mirror, with no weights and find your range that contracts and build a mind muscle connection. Then when you get that, start incorporating weights
