I'd look into putting bedlocks into the stowed position. Usually its just a catch directly to the frame, not subframe, the deck slides into when it's all closed up. That way you're not putting all that stress on the valve body and lines going down the road with a load

Hey Rudy. Here’s a suggestion. If you had a set of square tubing that could slide in som pockets below the bed rails. That you can slide the tubes in and then fold the Sides out flat if you need extra foot on each side. Just a thought.

    • @MrGarfield4

I would have kept the original bed as was, and added the plate underneath More strength, and gain the 2 inches in height you needed for the rails clearance. Faster build if you need a production line. Please put in the two safety features in that others have mentioned, a stop bar that can be dropped when the hydraulics are being worked on, and a lock for the bed at rest, so there is less stress on the hydraulics when loaded / on the road.

Make an additional width section that is dropped down for the tires to sit in for wider vehicle whilst clearing the tires of the mini truck during the roll back operation. I think it would be a a sick way to make it universal, may need some more supports for additional weight.

If the one holding the funnel up slightly the hydraulic fluid will drain quicker for a more consistent flow.
Also don’t completely fill the tank, when the fluid warms up it will expand. In sandy conditions use a dry slide lubricant.
